Peter Augustus Maier House, also known as the Maier-Pollard House , is a historic home located at Evansville, Indiana, United States. It was built in 1873, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, "L"-plan, Italianate style brick dwelling. It has a low-pitched slate cross-gable roof and features a bracketed cornice and paneled frieze. Also on the property is a contributing carriage house and original wrought iron fence.: 2–3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

EvilleCon is an annual three day anime convention held during March at the Old National Events Plaza in Evansville, Indiana.

The Old National Events Plaza (formerly The Centre) is a 280,000-square-foot (26,000 m2) convention center and auditorium in Evansville, Indiana, United States, that consists of a 2,500-seat auditorium, a 38,000-square-foot (3,500 m2) exhibit hall, 14,000-square-foot (1,300 m2) ballroom, and 12 flexible 1,000-square-foot (93 m2) meeting rooms.The facility hosts small and medium-sized conventions ranging from 20 to 4,000 people. The auditorium is also frequently the site a variety of concerts and special events. Formerly known as Vanderburgh Auditorium, the building underwent a major renovation and expansion in the mid-1990s and was renamed the centre. The architects involved with the project included HOK Venue and Veazey Parrot & Shoulders.It is co-managed with the Ford Center, Mesker Amphitheatre, and Victory Theatre.

Downtown Evansville is the central business district of Evansville, Indiana. The boundaries of downtown Evansville have changed as the city has grown, but they are generally considered to be between Canal Street at the south and east, the Lloyd Expressway to the north, Pigeon Creek to the northwest, and the Ohio River to the southeast south and southwest. The Ford Center is a multi-use indoor arena in downtown Evansville, Indiana with a maximum seating capacity of 11,000. It officially opened in November 2011 and is mainly used for basketball, ice hockey, and music concerts. It is home to the Evansville Thunderbolts minor league hockey team in the SPHL and the Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team, representing the University of Evansville. The UE women's basketball team also played at Ford Center from the venue's opening, but moved its home games back to its campus starting with the 2017–18 season.

The H.G. Newman Building is a historic commercial building located in downtown Evansville, Indiana. It was built in 1900, and is a two-story, Late Victorian style brick building. The building features decorative brickwork and parapet, and round arched openings. It was originally built to house a wholesale grocery and farmers' supply.: Part 1, p. 22 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Evansville Civic Center Complex is the location of all city offices for the City of Evansville and County of Vanderburgh, including the Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department. The Vanderburgh County Courts System is in the Northeast Building. The EVSC headquarters is in the eastmost building. The complex is bounded by Sycamore Street to the northwest, SE Ninth Street to the northeast, Locust Street to the southeast and M.L. King Boulevard to the southwest. The address of the complex is One NW Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd, Evansville, Indiana. Construction was completed in 1969.
