Minoru Park

Minoru Chapel is a small white wooden chapel that is now located in Richmond, British Columbia's Minoru Park. The chapel was built in 1891 on the corner of River Road and Cambie Road from plan 109 supplied by the Methodist Board of Church Extension and was run by the Methodist Church, and later by the United Church. It was constructed by the Fraser River so it could easily be reached by boat (at the time Richmond had few roads). Minoru Chapel was renovated and moved to the park in 1967. The chapel's convenient location and historical charm make it a popular place to get married, with up to eight weddings taking place a day throughout the summer months.

Richmond Public Library (RPL) is a public library that serves Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. The library has four branches in the city: Brighouse (Main), Steveston, Ironwood, and Cambie. RPL also offers weekly outreach service to the Hamilton neighbourhood. The library has won numerous awards, including the John Cotton Dana Public Relations Award in 2008 for its "Ralphy" library card for kids. In September 2018, Richmond Public Library placed a book dispensing machine in the Hamilton Community Centre, allowing nearby residents to access the library's collection.

The Richmond Art Gallery (abbreviated as RAG) is a non-profit contemporary art museum located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1980, the gallery is situated within the Richmond Cultural Centre at Minoru Park and serves as a primary hub for visual arts in the city of Richmond.

Richmond Secondary School, (commonly, Richmond High School, RHS, and RSS) is a public, co-educational secondary school located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, that educates approximately 1200 students from grades 8 to 12. Richmond Secondary is the only school in Richmond that offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and is a magnet school in the region.

Richmond Centre (corporately styled as CF Richmond Centre and formerly known as Richmond Square) is a shopping mall in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. Its street address is on No. 3 Rd, but it stretches as far west as Minoru Blvd and as far south as Granville Ave. Richmond City Hall is immediately south of the mall.

Richmond–Brighouse is an elevated station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. Located in the Brighouse area of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, it is one of the outbound terminus stations of the Canada Line, the other being YVR–Airport. Like YVR–Airport, Richmond–Brighouse only has a single track. The station is located within Richmond's commercial centre, close to the Richmond Centre shopping mall and Richmond City Hall. The station is within a short walking distance of such amenities as Richmond Public Market, Richmond Hospital, and the Minoru civic complex, as well as other nearby offices, commercial, and residential buildings.

Richmond City Centre is the central business district of Richmond, British Columbia. The city centre comprises seven areas: Brighouse Village, Oval Village, Lansdowne Village, Aberdeen Village, Capstan Village, Bridgeport Village, and Southeast. It is the most populous area of Richmond.

The Richmond Olympic Oval (French: Anneau olympique de Richmond) is an indoor multi-sports arena in the Canadian city of Richmond, British Columbia. The oval was built for the 2010 Winter Olympics and was originally configured with a speed skating rink. The venue has since been reconfigured and now serves as a community multi-sport park and includes two ice hockey rinks, two running tracks, a climbing wall, a rowing tank and a flexible area which can be used for, among other sports, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and table tennis. The Olympic bid called for the oval to be located on the grounds of Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Burnaby, but Richmond was instead selected in 2004. Although twice the price of the SFU alternative, the location was selected because the city offered to cover all costs exceeding $60 million. Construction started in 2006, cost $178 million CAD and the venue opened on 12 December 2008. In addition to speed skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the venue has hosted the 2009 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships. Designed by CannonDesign, the oval's elements are made to resemble the heron.

Water Sky Garden is a sculptural environment designed by artist Janet Echelman. The garden is located outside the Richmond Olympic Oval, an official venue for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. The installation consists of a wetland treatment pond, 300 ft. boardwalk, two 52 ft. pedestrian bridges, two net sculptures, and a fountain.

Richmond is a city in the coastal Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. It occupies almost the entirety of Lulu Island (excluding Queensborough), between the two estuarine distributaries of the Fraser River. As of 2022, the city has an estimated population of 230,584 people.During the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Richmond Olympic Oval was a venue for long track speed skating events.

Brighouse is a neighbourhood that comprises most of the urban core of Richmond in Metro Vancouver. The area includes community facilities, civic offices, Richmond Centre, and the Canada Line Richmond–Brighouse station terminus.
