Beaver is a town in Carroll County, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 67. The community is located on the White River at the western limits of Table Rock Lake deep in the Ozark Mountains. Located north of Eureka Springs, the small town has been featured in movies for its picturesque scenery. The town is known for the Beaver Bridge, a two-panel suspension bridge over the White River listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Beaver Bridge in Beaver, Arkansas, is a historic one-lane suspension bridge carrying Arkansas Highway 187 over the White River at Table Rock Lake. Built in 1949 by the Pioneer Construction Company, the structure is the only suspension bridge open to traffic in Arkansas. The Beaver Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Ozark Southern Stone quarry is a quarry located in Elk Ranch, Arkansas, rich in dolomite limestone. It began in 1883 as Eureka Stone Co., and remained open until the Great Depression. It became Ozark Southern stone in 2006. Its stone has been used in building in the northwest Arkansas region, in Kansas City, Missouri, and elsewhere. It was used in the restoration of the Old Main building at the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The Mulladay Hollow Bridge is a stone arch bridge in rural Carroll County, Arkansas. It carries County Road 204 across Mulladay Hollow Creek, near the southwestern tip of Lake Leatherwood It has two spans, and is built out of roughly square and semi-coursed fieldstone. The arches are elliptical in shape, 9 feet (2.7 m) in height and 9.5 feet (2.9 m) wide, with nearly-square voussoirs forming the arches. The barrels of the arches are skewed with respect to the spandrels, and the wing walls are slightly curved. The roadway carried by the bridge is 30 feet (9.1 m) wide, and the total length of the structure is 120 feet (37 m). The bridge was built with Works Progress Administration funding as part of the development of Lake Leatherwood as a recreation area.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Holiday Island is a 4,500-acre planned retirement and vacation community in Carroll County, Arkansas, United States. Formerly an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP), it voted to incorporate in November 2020. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,533. Holiday Island is located in the Ozark Mountains on Table Rock Lake, near Eureka Springs, Arkansas and only an hour from Branson, Missouri, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Bentonville, Arkansas. Community growth has been fueled by the expansion of the corporate giants headquartered in Northwest Arkansas (including Walmart, Tyson Foods, and J.B. Hunt), the entertainment attractions in Eureka Springs and Branson, the visitor traffic from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Pea Ridge National Military Park, and Roaring River State Park, and the influence of the state's largest University, the University of Arkansas.

Gaskins is an extinct town in Carroll County, in the U.S. state of Arkansas.The community site is located on Arkansas Route 23 about 2.5 miles north of Eureka Springs. The community was on Leatherwood Creek and the Gaskins Switch Cemetery is just north of the location.The community once had a depot on the Eureka Springs Railway.

The White River Bridge is a five-span Warren deck truss bridge located near Beaver, Carroll County, Arkansas. It carries U.S. Route 62 over the White River for 786.90 feet (239.85 m). Each span is about 128 feet (39 m) in length and is mounted on concrete piers or abutments. The bridge was built in 1950-52 by the Forcum-James Company of Dyersburg, Tennessee. It was the last of eleven deck-truss bridges built in the state, and is the only one of its type in the county. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Thorncrown Chapel is a chapel located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, designed by E. Fay Jones, and constructed in 1980. The design recalls the Prairie School of architecture popularized by Frank Lloyd Wright, with whom Jones had apprenticed. The chapel was commissioned by Jim Reed, a retired schoolteacher, who envisioned a non-denominational pilgrimage chapel set apart for meditation. The design of Thorncrown Chapel was inspired by Sainte-Chapelle, a Gothic church in Paris, France, pierced by numerous stained glass windows. It held some of King Louis's medieval Christian relics, including the Crown of Thorns believed worn by Christ. This relic inspired the name of the American chapel. The chapel's unusual artistry has been recognized. It was selected for the 2006 Twenty-five Year Award by the American Institute of Architects. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000, a status not granted to buildings fewer than fifty years old unless exceptionally significant. It was included in Budget Travel's list of "12 Most Beautiful Churches in America" and Bored Panda's list of "50 Most Extraordinary Churches Of The World."
