Sequim Valley Airport (IATA: SQV, FAA LID: W28) is a privately owned, public use airport located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) northwest of the central business district of Sequim, a city in Clallam County, Washington, United States.

Carlsborg is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Clallam County, Washington, United States. The population was 995 at the 2010 census, up from 855 at the 2000 census.

The Dungeness River Bridge is the centerpiece of Railroad Bridge Park near the town of Sequim, Washington. It crosses the Dungeness River. The bridge was first constructed by the Seattle, Port Angeles, and Western Railway, a subsidiary of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (also known as the Milwaukee Road) in 1916. Because of the ready availability of timber, the bridge was built of wood. This first bridge was replaced in 1930. The new bridge was also built of timber, and like its predecessor, is a through Howe truss 156 feet long and 22 feet high. Two wooden trestles are on the east and west approaches.After the Milwaukee Road's bankruptcy, the bridge was left abandoned. In 1992, volunteers began to work on the bridge and replace planking and created a bike trail. In 1995, the property surrounding the bridge was purchased by the Washington State Audubon Society, which then created the Dungeness River Center and a park, called Railroad Bridge Park. The bike path through the park and over the bridge is connected to the Olympic Discovery Trail, a rails-to-trails initiative. The bridge was listed in the National Register of Historic Places due to its being one of the last timber Howe through-truss railroad bridges still remaining in Washington. In February 2015, due to high winds and rainfall, the Bridge's center collapsed. The repaired and improved bridge was reopened in March 2016.

Five Acre School is a private pre-school and elementary school next to the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge in Sequim, Washington state. The School was founded in 1994 by Bill and Juanita Jevne and is currently a 501c3 non-profit organization. Five Acre School serves children from three to twelve. The school has four classrooms: the Primary Class (pre-school), the Discovery Class (kindergarten and 1st grade), the Adventure Class (2nd and 3rd grade) and the Explorer Class (4th, 5th and 6th grade). There are ten faculty and staff including a director.The school focuses on the arts, the outdoors and project-based learning. Every Wednesday students go on day hikes in the woods and beaches around the school. Students have art and music several times throughout the week. Five Acre School is known for its marimba band called Soundwaves. The band performs songs written by Walt Hampton at various events and festivals in Clallam County. The band is directed by Rosie Sharpe.

The Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge is located near the town of Sequim in Clallam County in the U.S. state of Washington, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The refuge is composed of 772.52 acres (312.63 ha) which include Dungeness Spit, Graveyard Spit, and portions of Dungeness Bay and Harbor. Dungeness Spit is one of the world's longest natural sand spits, 6.8 miles (10.9 km) long and very narrow. A lighthouse, the New Dungeness Light, built in 1857, is located near the end of the spit. Access to Dungeness Spit is through a Clallam County Park which has hiking trails, picnic areas, and a campground. On January 20, 1915, it was designated as a National Wildlife Refuge by President Woodrow Wilson. Dungeness is one of six refuges in the Washington Maritime National Wildlife Refuge Complex.

River Road is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clallam County, Washington, United States. The population was 454 at the 2010 census. It is a primarily residential area next to the city of Sequim.

The Aircraft Warning Service Observation Tower in Agnew, Washington was built in 1941 as a spotting station for Aircraft Warning Service volunteers watching for intruding Japanese airplanes during World War II. The tower's original site was near Dungeness, but in 1992 the tower was moved to its present location.

McAlmond House is a Gothic Revival farmhouse that built in 1862. The house stands on the bluffs of Dungeness near Sequim, Clallam County, Washington. The house is the only remain of the New Dungeness settlement, founded by New England sailors in the 1850s, and was built by ship's carpenters for the Captain Elijah H. McAlmond, which served as Justice of the Peace, first county commissioner, sheriff, Deputy United States Marshall, Probate Judge and, in 1863, as a member of the Territorial Legislature. The home remained in the McAlmond family until the mid-1900s, when the last remaining property was put up for sale. Local legends claim that under Capt. McAlmond's stewardship, the bluffs under the house were used to smuggle Chinese into the United States.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Emery Farmstead, also known as Chancellor-Emery Farmstead, is an historic farm located at the junction of Emery Road and Emery Lane, about 8.5 miles (13.7 km) southeast of Port Angeles, Washington. The farm is composed of five well preserved historic buildings on a 5 acres (2.0 ha) area. The log cabin (48°04′11″N 123°15′46″W) is the newest building in the farmstead and was built in 1889. Shortly after its construction, and before 1900, the two-story log house (48°04′12″N 123°15′47″W) was built nearby. The granary (48°04′11″N 123°15′45″W) and root cellar (48°04′11″N 123°15′46″W) are two log structures located shortly east of the buildings. A log shed (48°04′11″N 123°15′46″W) is the original living quarters, built in 1885.The farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

KZQM (104.9 FM) is a radio station operating in Sequim, Washington.Monikered as “Rocks Classic Hits”, Z-104.9 plays a format of top hits from the 1960s-1980s. KZQM is owned and operated by Radio Pacific, Inc. Its sister stations are KONP and KSTI based in neighboring Port Angeles.

The Dungeness School is a historical schoolhouse building located at 657 Towne Road in Dungeness, Washington. The idea for the school was formed in 1892 by the settlers of the Dungeness area. On May 10, 1892 a meeting was held in which settlers created a bond for land and a two-story school house. In August 1892, the Dungeness Beacon reported that the contract for construction was awarded to Hall and Duncan for $1,673. The school house opened on February 27, 1893. The school originally had 73 students from the ages of 5 to 20. The school had one teacher who lived on the second floor of the school. Classes were large and books and supplies not easy to get. School Board minutes of April 8, 1895, show a motion was passed to buy the school a bottle of ink.In 1955, the Dungeness and Sequim School Districts were consolidated, and the old Dungeness School was closed. In 1967 the Dungeness Community Club purchased the land and the building from the Sequim School District. The Dungeness School was designated a Washington State Historical Site in 1971. On May 19, 1988, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1995, faced with rising maintenance costs, the schoolhouse was donated to the local museum and is now operated as a division of the Sequim Museum & Arts.The original building was 36 feet by 48 feet, and then in 1921 a second wing was constructed. A USGS datum point was placed on the southeast corner of the building in 1929. In 2008 the Schoolhouse Belfry along with the original school bell was restored.

The Manis Mastodon site is a 2-acre (1 ha) archaeological site on the Olympic Peninsula near Sequim, Washington, United States, discovered in 1977. During the 1977-78 excavation, the remains of an American mastodon were recovered with a 13,800-year-old projectile point made of the bone from a different mastodon embedded in its rib. The site was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
