St. John's Church (Swedish: Sankt Johannes kyrka) is a church located in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. It was designed by Carl Möller in the Gothic Revival style and completed in 1890.

Immanuel Church (Swedish: Immanuelskyrkan) is church located in the city centre of Stockholm, Sweden. The church was designed by Sture Frölén and built in 1974 on a lot that used to house a tram depot, at the intersection of Birger Jarlsgatan and Kungstensgatan.The entire block, containing offices and a hotel, was built in the years 1970–1974 on behalf of the church. The church has been considered a fine example of 1970s modernist architecture and is of great historical value, according to the Stockholm City Museum.

Stockholm International School (SIS) provides an international education in English to approximately 700 students aged 3–18 in the heart of Sweden's capital. Franska Skolan (English: French School) is a private school located in Stockholm, Sweden. It was founded in 1862. French school (French: École Française) is a school located on Döbelnsgatan 9 in Stockholm, founded in 1862 originally as a girls' school of the Roman Catholic religious congregation Sisters of St. Joseph from France. The school follows the Swedish system of education, but all the students study French. The school's students are mainly Swedish children, but also francophone students study there. The current head principal is Björn Kullgard.

Brunkebergsåsen was an esker that once reached over much of Stockholm's Norrmalm district. Geologically, it is a part of the much larger Stockholmsåsen. It formed a considerable obstacle to traffic, effectively dividing Norrmalm into a western and an eastern part. Consequently, most of it has been dug away over the centuries to make room for the development of that district. The pedestrian tunnel Brunkebergstunneln and, since the 1910s, the eastern part of Kungsgatan cut through Brunkebergsåsen's southern part. Conspicuous remnants of the esker can be seen in the vicinity of Johannes kyrka, at Observatorielunden, and Vanadislunden.

Engelbrekt Parish (Swedish: Engelbrekts församling) is a parish in Östermalm's church district (kontrakt) in the Diocese of Stockholm, Sweden. The parish is located in Stockholm Municipality in Stockholm County. The parish forms its own pastorship.

The Brunkeberg Tunnel in Norrmalm, Stockholm, is a 231-metre-long passageway for pedestrians through the esker Brunkebergsåsen. The tunnel was inaugurated in 1886 by King Oscar II.

Engelbrekt Church (Swedish: Engelbrektskyrkan) is a protected church located in the Lärkstaden area of Stockholm, Sweden. Its located at Östermalm and belongs to the Church of Sweden and is parish church for Engelbrekt Parish in the Diocese of Stockholm. It was designed by architect Lars Israel Wahlman in the National Romantic style and completed in 1914. It is one of the largest churches in Stockholm, with 1,400 seats.In the spirit of romantic nationalism, the church was named after Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson – a Swedish 15th century rebel leader and national hero. It was built atop a hill in the years 1910–14, after a design competition held in 1906. The rock on which the church is standing was left mostly intact, in accordance to the urban planning ideals at the time, giving it a naturally elevated position in the city.The building has some features common to Byzantine architecture and has a cruciform architectural plan with a 32 m (105 ft) high nave, making it the highest in Scandinavia. Internationally appreciated in architectural circles, the church has not been subjected to any major changes since its inauguration and is regarded as a paragon of the Swedish Art Nouveau era and the National Romantic style.

Stockholm University College of Music Education (Swedish: Stockholms Musikpedagogiska Institut, SMI) is a Swedish university college in Stockholm which offers higher education in the field of music pedagogy in communal arts and culture schools as well as voice and speech pedagogy (logonomy). SMI is situated at Campus Flemingsberg in Huddinge municipality, together with Södertörn University, Karolinska Institute Huddinge, Red Cross University College of Nursing and the Royal Institute of Technology.

Norra Real ("Northern Real") is an upper-secondary school, located on Roslagsgatan 1 in Stockholm, Sweden. The school is the oldest upper-secondary school in Stockholm and one of the most difficult to get accepted into.A number of prominent researchers and Swedish socialites have attended the school, including Manne Siegbahn (Nobel Prize laureate in Physics), Gunnar Myrdal (Nobel Prize laureate in Economic Sciences), Horace Engdahl (permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy from 1999 to June 2009), and Leif G. W. Persson (criminologist and novelist).

Tunnelgatan (Tunnel Street) is a street in Stockholm, Sweden, which stretches from Sveavägen to the Brunkeberg Tunnel. Tunnelgatan was named after the Brunkeberg tunnel which opened in 1886. The previous name was Barnhus trädgårdsgata (Orphanage garden street), after the orphanage at Norra Bantorget. During the 17th century, there was a ropewalk at the place. The only remaining residential building in the street is located at the crossing of Tunnelgatan and Luntmakargatan and was built between 1894 and 1896. Tunnelgatan is associated with the murder of Olof Palme, which occurred near the tunnel mouth on Sveavägen street, and the killer fled up the stairs. A section of the street has since been renamed as Olof Palmes gata. The City Plan 67 intended to expand Tunnelgatan to a six-lane urban highway with continuation through David Bagares gata to Stureplan, and further through Humlegårdsgatan to Norra Djurgården. In the west, a connection to Klarastrandsleden via a bridge over the tracks north of Stockholm Central Station was planned. However the plans were shelved indefinitely when the 1977 City Plan was formulated.
