East Haven is an unincorporated community in Wayne Township, Wayne County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.

WFMG (101.3 MHz G101.3) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Richmond, Indiana, and serving parts of Indiana and Ohio. It carries a hot adult contemporary radio format and is owned by Whitewater Broadcasting, along with former employee and local mayor Dave Snow, with the license held by the Rodgers Broadcasting Corporation.WFMG has an effective radiated power of 20,500 watts The radio studios and transmitter are located on West Main Street in Richmond.

Don McBride Stadium is a baseball ballpark built in 1936 at the corner of Northwest 13th Street and Peacock Road in Richmond, Indiana. It is named after Joseph Donald McBride, the former director of the Richmond Parks Department who oversaw development of the stadium.The ballpark has hosted four minor-league baseball teams over the years: the Richmond Roses (1946-48), the Richmond Robins (1949), the Richmond Tigers (1950-52) and the Richmond Roosters (1995-2005), as well as the Richmond High School, Seton Catholic Cardinals and Earlham College teams. It was home to the Richmond RiverRats of the collegiate summer Prospect League from 2009 to 2015. It is currently home to the Richmond Jazz of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. The stadium features a small covered grandstand. Seating capacity is 1,787. It was renovated in 1995.

Lewis Jones House, in Centerville, Indiana, also known as The Stephen and Betty Jones House, is a historic farmhouse in Centerville, Indiana, in the United States. It was built in 1840. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Earlham College Observatory is a historic observatory building located on the campus of Earlham College at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. It was built in 1861, and is a one-story, brick building with a hipped roof. It consists of a 19-foot-square central section topped by a copper dome with a removable section, and flanked by 10-foot by 19-foot sections. Beneath the revolvable dome is a 6+1⁄2-inch objective lens telescope located in the center of the main block.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Earlham College is a private liberal arts college in Richmond, Indiana. The college was established in 1847 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and has a strong focus on Quaker values such as integrity, a commitment to peace and social justice, mutual respect, and community decision-making. It offers a Master of Arts in Teaching and has an affiliated graduate seminary, the Earlham School of Religion, which offers three master's degrees: Master of Divinity, Master of Ministry, and Master of Arts in Religion.

David Worth Dennis House, also known as Woodlawn, is a historic home located at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. It was built in 1895, and is a two-story, cubic, Queen Anne style brick dwelling. It has a hipped roof with lower cross-gables and a two-story gabled wing designed by architect John A. Hasecoster and added in 1909. It features a two-story porch and single-story porte cochere. It's builder's grandson was U.S. Congressman David W. Dennis.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Mary Birdsall House is known as the Lauramoore Guest House & Retreat Center and is located in Richmond, Indiana. It was built in 1859 for Thomas and Mary Birdsall, a leading woman's suffragist in Indiana. The Italianate brick-built house is a two-story structure standing at the corner of Northwest Fifth Street and Richmond Avenue. In 1927, the Whitewater Monthly Meeting Religious Society of Friends converted the building to a retirement home, adding on a two-story addition on the west and north sides of the building. Later, the property was given to Earlham College, and it now serves as a guest house and retreat center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Bethany Theological Seminary is the a seminary of the Church of the Brethren in Richmond, Indiana. It is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and the Higher Learning Commission.

Earlham School of Religion (ESR), a graduate division of Earlham College, located in Richmond, Indiana, is the oldest graduate seminary associated with the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). ESR's Mission Statement is as follows: "Rooted in the Christian Quaker tradition of contemplation that inspires action, Earlham School of Religion prepares theologically diverse students for a pluralistic world. Our curriculum unites spiritual formation, academic study, social engagement, and vital ministry."

King–Dennis Farm is a historic home and farm located in Center Township, Wayne County, Indiana. The farmhouse was built about 1840, and is a large two-story, brick I-house. Also on the property are the contributing summer kitchen (c. 1910), poultry house (c. 1910), small barn (c. 1910), livestock barn (c. 1870), milk house (c. 1925), and an equipment barn.: 5 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

A large-scale industrial fire occurred on April 11, 2023, impacting a recycling processing facility and its surrounding area in Richmond, Indiana, United States. The fire was caused by a semi-trailer carrying plastics which was engulfed in flames. Four years prior to the fire, the city had found that the site was a fire hazard and the Wayne Circuit Court affirmed the finding, declaring it "unsafe to people and property".
