Monte Freidour

Monte Tre Denti (Italian: Mount Three Teeth) is peak in the Cottian Alps, Metropolitan City of Turin in Piedmont, north-western Italy. It has an elevation of 1,365 metres (4,478 ft) and is located between the comuni of Cumiana and Cantalupa. Together with the nearby Monte Freidour, it is part of a natural park called Parco naturale di interesse provinciale del Monte Tre Denti - Freidour.

Tavernette is a frazione (neighbourhood) of Cumiana, in Piedmont, northern Italy. Its name comes from the latin tabernae (in English tavern or country pub).

The Germanasca (also in Piedmontese Germanasca) is a 27 km (17 mi) Italian torrent, which runs through the Metropolitan City of Turin. It is a tributary of the Chisone, into which it flows near Perosa Argentina. The valley formed by the river is known as Val Germanasca.

The Lakes of Avigliana Natural Park (Italian: Parco naturale dei laghi di Avigliana) is a nature reserve in Piedmont, Italy. Established in 1980, it covers the area surrounding the eponymous maar lakes and the Mareschi swamp (the westernmost swamp in Italy), in the lower Val Susa, between Monte Pirchiriano and the hill of Rivoli.Since 2009 the park, located entirely in the territory of Avigliana in the Province of Turin, has been managed by the Ente di gestione delle aree protette delle Alpi Cozie, along with the Val Troncea, Orsiera-Rocciavrè and Gran Bosco di Salbertrand natural parks and the natural reserves of the gorges of Foresto and Chianocco.The park's fauna includes herons, coots, ducks, common moorhens, great crested grebes, little grebes, black kites, Eurasian bitterns, Eurasian treecreepers, lesser spotted woodpeckers, brown frogs, great cormorants, and pheasants; the fish in the lakes include Eurasian carps, Northern pikes, European perches, Largemouth basses, and Italian chubs.

The Montagnazza (or Montagnassa) is a mountain in the Cottian Alps, Metropolitan City of Turin in Piedmont, north-western Italy. It is located in the comune of Piossasco.

Monte Pietraborga is a mountain in the Cottian Alps, Metropolitan City of Turin in Piedmont, north-western Italy. It is located between the comuni of Trana and Sangano.

The Giardino Botanico Rea is a botanical garden located 450 meters altitude in Val Sangone, at Trana, Province of Turin, Piedmont, northern Italy. The garden was founded in 1967 by Giuseppe Giovanni Bellia as a private institution. In 1968 it began to publish a newsletter, entitled "Rea" in 1969, and dedicated to Giovanni Francesco Rea (1773–1833), one of the earliest botanists to study flora of the Val Susa and Val Sangone. In the 1970s Bellia created collections of exotic plants, particularly succulents, and explored the Val Sangone collecting its rare plants. In 1989 the Garden was purchased by the Piedmont Region to become part of the Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali di Torino, and in 1992 it opened to the public. Today the garden contains more than 2,500 species. The garden's main sections include rare and critically endangered species of the foothills; local trees, shrubs, and Pteridophyta; aquatic plants, succulents, carnivorous plants, and epiphytes; rustic trees and shrubs; medical and aromatic plants; food and honey plants; ornamental plants; and textile plants. Of particular note are its collections of succulents (more than 200 specimens), carnivorous plants (e.g. Aldrovanda vesiculosa and Dionaea muscipula) grown in heated greenhouses, and rare local species.

Vaie is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Turin in the Susa Valley. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,413 and an area of 7.1 square kilometres (2.7 sq mi).Vaie borders the following municipalities: Condove, Sant'Antonino di Susa, Chiusa di San Michele, Coazze and Valgioie.

The Sacra di San Michele, sometimes known as Saint Michael's Abbey, is a religious complex on Mount Pirchiriano, situated on the south side of the Val di Susa in the territory of the municipality of Sant'Ambrogio di Torino, in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. The abbey, which for much of its history was under Benedictine rule, is now entrusted to the Rosminians. A special regional law acknowledges it as the "Symbolic monument of the Piedmont region". This monumental abbey served as one of the inspirations for the book The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco.

Avigliana Castle is one of the oldest castles in Piedmont (reputedly dating back to the 10th century). Now just a ruin, it is located in Avigliana at the mouth of the Susa Valley, 25 km from Turin.

Condove-Chiusa San Michele (Italian: Stazione di Condove-Chiusa San Michele) is a railway station in Italy's Chiusa San Michele comune (municipality) and serving the Condove comune. The station is located on the Turin–Modane railway. The train services are operated by Trenitalia.

San Giovanni Vincenzo (Saint John Vincent) is a late-Baroque style, Roman Catholic parish church located in the town of Sant'Ambrogio di Torino, in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the region of Piedmont, Italy. The church was designed by the Piedmontese architect Bernardo Vittone.
