Boothbay Harbor is a census-designated place (CDP) comprising the densely populated center of the town of Boothbay Harbor in Lincoln County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,086 at the 2010 census, down from 1,237 at the 2000 census.

The Auld-McCobb House is a historic double house on Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. It is the town's oldest brick residence, built in 1807 for a pair of prominent local merchants. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library is the public library of Boothbay Harbor, Lincoln County, Maine. It is located at 4 Oak Street, in an architecturally significant Greek Revival building constructed as a private residence in 1842. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The building also serves as a war memorial to the town's soldiers of the First World War.

The Opera House at Boothbay Harbor, also known historically as the Boothbay Harbor Opera House, Knights of Pythias Hall, The Opera House, and as the Pythian Opera House, is a historic meeting hall and multifunction building at 86 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Built in 1894, it has housed government offices of the town, and the meeting spaces of fraternal organizations, prior to its present use as a performance venue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 30, 2008.

Bayville is a village in the town of Boothbay Harbor in Lincoln County, Maine, United States. The village of Bayville was formed in 1911. Bayville consists largely of summer residents and has approximately 43 houses at the head of Linekin Bay. The Bayville lineage of several families stretches back some six generations or more. The Burnt Island Light, built in 1821, is the second oldest surviving lighthouse in Maine. It hosts a living history museum run by the state Department of Marine Resources. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as Burnt Island Light Station on November 23, 1977.

Squirrel Island is an island in the Gulf of Maine and village within the town of Southport, Maine, United States. It was established as a summer community in 1871. The origin of the name is not related to its squirrel population, since according to island chronicler Charles McLane "[s]quirrels do not inhabit the island (or if they do now, they did not in early times according to local pundits)," but, rather, refers to the shape of the island which, when seen from above, resembles a squirrel holding an acorn.

The Little River is a 2.1-mile-long (3.4 km) stream and tidal river on Linekin Neck in the town of Boothbay in the U.S. state of Maine. It is a small tidal river for its lower 1.4 miles (2.3 km), entering the Atlantic Ocean just west of the mouth of the Damariscotta River.
