Charles McCormick Building is a historic commercial building located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1904, and is a two-story, rectangular, brick building on a concrete and stone foundation. It housed commercial enterprises on the first floor and apartments on the second.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Dille-Probst House, also known as the Colonel Otto Probst House, is a historic home located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1888, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, "T"-plan, Queen Anne style frame dwelling with a brick veneer. It has a steeply pitched hipped roof and features a polygonal tower and Eastlake movement style front porch.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The J.C. Lauber Company Building is a historic building on the east side of South Bend, Indiana. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. The company produced much of the sheet metal and roofing for buildings in early-20th-century South Bend.

St. Joseph Grade School (SJGS) is a Catholic pre-K through 8 school in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, noted in particular for its historic school building, a Late Gothic Revival style tan brick building built in 1925. The school has an enrollment of 471 students, and the principal is Melissa Green.The Congregation of Holy Cross administers the school. It is the parochial school of the Parish of St. Joseph, in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, and the oldest Catholic congregation in the city. It bears the same name as the county and nearby river.

W. N. Bergan–J. C. Lauber Company Building is a historic manufacturing complex located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. The original Bergan Building was built in 1882, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick industrial building. It features an ornate cornice and frieze. Also on the property are two one-story contributing brick buildings. The buildings have housed the J. C. Lauber Sheet Metal Company, Inc. since 1900.: 5, 7  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Martin Hoban House is a historic home located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1896, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, irregular plan, Queen Anne style brick dwelling. It has a cross-gable roof and sits on a granite and limestone foundation. It features a two-story projecting bay, round arched windows, and a one-story hip roofed front porch supported by Tuscan order columns.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

I and M Electric Co. Building-Transformer House and Garage are three historic buildings located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. The garage was built in 1929, and is a three-story, rectangular brick building. It features decorative coping and belt courses and a parapet. the transformer house is a 1+1⁄2-story brick building with terra cotta coping constructed in 1929. The I and M Electric Co. Building was built in 1911, and is a four- to five-story, Classical Revival style brick and stone building. The buildings were built for the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company, which operated an electric plant on the site into the 1970s.: 5, 7 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

It encompasses 71 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in a predominantly residential section of South Bend. It developed between about 1880 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Colonial Revival, American Foursquare, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture and works by architects Austin & Shambleau. Notable buildings include the James and Marie Zimmerman House (1921), Eger House (1911), George and Emma Hewitt House (1905), Ruth and Edwin H. Sommerer House (1930), Chauncey T. Fassett House (1898), Dougdale Carriage Barn (1900), and Sunnyside Presbyterian Church (1923, 1951).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Singer Manufacturing–South Bend Lathe Co. Historic District is a national historic district located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It encompasses four contributing buildings, one additional contributing structures, and one further contributing site. It developed between about 1868 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Late Victorian style industrial architecture. The buildings are associated with the Singer Manufacturing Company and its successors. They include the original three-story, brick Singer Manufacturing Company building (1868), Singer Manufacturing Company / South Bend Lathe complex (c. 1870–1875, and later), and Singer Manufacturing Company Employees Club Room / Supply Building (1893).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Howard Park Historic District is a national historic district located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It encompasses 27.6-acres and includes 51 contributing buildings, 2 additional contributing structures, and 1 further contributing site (Howard Park, named after state supreme justice Timothy Edward Howard). It developed between about 1880 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Renaissance Revival, Prairie School, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture and works by architects Austin & Shambleau. Notable buildings include the Sunnyside Apartments (1922), Studebaker / Johnson House (1907), Zion Evangelical Church (1888, 1930), the Works Progress Administration built Howard Park Administrative Building (1940), and Lister / Plotkin House (1882).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Stephenson Underwear Mill is a historic textile mill located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1916, and is a three-story, rectangular, nine-bay reinforced concrete building with brick curtain walls. It features a parapet with concrete coping and concrete panels on each side of the front panels. The building was rehabilitated for use as apartments in the early-1990s.: 5, 12 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Century Center Convention Center, designed by architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, broke construction in 1974 and opened in 1977, has been managed by SMG since July, 2013. The center, built on the banks of the West Race canal, overlooks the St. Joseph River in downtown South Bend, Indiana, United States. It features over 75,000 sq ft (7,000 m2). of convention space and is home to Island Park, an 11-acre (45,000 m2) riverfront park attached to the convention center via a cross walk over the West Race canal. Century Center includes a 25,000 sq ft (2,300 m2) Convention Hall that can be split into two smaller halls. This level also offers a 12,000 sq ft (1,100 m2) Discovery Ballroom that can be separated into two equal halls. Century Center Convention Center's 16,000 sq ft (1,500 m2) Great Hall is includes a 30 ft (9.1 m) glass wall which overlooks the St. Joseph River. Eighteen meeting rooms, with over 35 combinations, complement the overall space. A pre-function area is located on the lower level adjacent to the Great Hall. A two-story high glass wall encompasses the Great Hall, with a view of the St. Joseph River. The Century Center Convention Center provides access via an enclosed, climate-controlled skywalk to a 300-room DoubleTree hotel. It houses the South Bend Museum of Art and is connected by a tunnel to the former College Football Hall of Fame.
