Beanblossom Creek is a stream in Monroe and Brown counties, Indiana, in the United States. The creek drains roughly 91.97 square miles into the two counties of south central Indiana.

Gosport is a town in Wayne Township, Owen County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 826 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Bloomington, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Dr. H. G. Osgood House, also known as the Mina Jane Ahlemeyer Property, is a historic home located at Gosport, Owen County, Indiana. The main section of the house was built between about 1860 and 1880, and is a two-story, "T"-plan, Italianate style frame residence. It has the original two-story rear wing, built about 1850, and one-story wing. Also on the property are the contributing English barn / carriage barn and privy.: 5  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is located in the Gosport Historic District.

Gosport Historic District is a national historic district located at Gosport, Owen County, Indiana. The district encompasses 40 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, 4 contributing structures, and 4 contributing objects in the central business district and surrounding residential sections of Gosport. It developed between about 1835 and 1952, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Classical Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Dr. H.G. Osgood House. Other notable contributing resources include the Bank of Gosport (1867, c. 1900), Gosport Banking Company (1909), Graham Building (1909), Knights of Pythias Building / Opera House (c. 1873), Gosport Town Park (1908, 1942), Gosport Tavern (1835), Gosport Masonic Lodge No. 92 (1923), and the Nazarene Church (1952). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Secrest-Wampler House, also known as the James Secrest House, is a historic home located in Washington Township, Owen County, Indiana. It was built in 1859, and is a two-story, brick I-house with Greek Revival style design elements. It has a one-story rear ell, and the front facade features a two-story portico. The house was restored in the 1990s.: 5  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Stinesville is a town in Bean Blossom Township, Monroe County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 203 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Bloomington Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Stinesville Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Stinesville, Monroe County, Indiana. The district consists of five adjoining limestone commercial buildings in the central business district of Stinesville. The buildings were built between 1886 and 1894, and display elements of Renaissance Revival and Romanesque Revival style architecture. The main building is the two-story, Oolitic Lodge No. 682, I.O.O.F. built in 1894. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Jacks Defeat Creek is a stream in Monroe County, Indiana, in the United States. It is a tributary of Beanblossom Creek. Jacks Defeat Creek was so named from an incident when two men, Jack Storm and Jack Ketcham were crossing the creek on horseback and both became stuck in the mud. An alternative for the name, is that it is an English bastardization of the name of the first settler along the creek, Jacque LaFitte. The French had presence in Vincennes, Kaskaskia and Detroit with land travel across Indiana. The alternative name for the creek, if correct, fits with the presence of the French briefly in the area after Vincennes was founded in the 1730s until the French were driven out in the French and Indian War.

Stone Arch Bridge over McCormick's Creek is a historic arch bridge located at McCormick's Creek State Park in Washington Township, Owen County, Indiana. It was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1934, and is solidly constructed of mortared roughcut limestone. The round arch has a 54-foot (16 m) span and reaches approximately 25 feet (7.6 m) high.: 5  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

McCormick's Creek State Park Entrance and Gatehouse is a historic gatehouse situated in McCormick's Creek State Park, located in Washington Township, Owen County, Indiana. Constructed in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, it is a one-story, T-shaped building made of limestone in the Rustic style with a gable roof. The building features a large limestone fireplace chimney and an open entrance porch. Adjacent to the gatehouse, there are two sections of a stone and timber fence that contribute to its overall historic character..: 5  In recognition of its significance, the gatehouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
