Lüner Lake (German Lünersee) is a large lake near the town of Bludenz in Vorarlberg, Austria. The lake's depth was raised by 72 metres by the construction of a hydroelectric dam in 1958. The dam supplies water to four local power plants, Lünersee, Rodund I, Rodund II and Walgau. The lake is linked to the village of Brand by a cable car system, the Lünerseebahn.

The Kirchlispitzen (2,552 m) is a mountain in the Rätikon range of the Alps, located on the border between Austria and Switzerland. It overlooks the Lünersee on its northern side.

The Rätikon is a mountain range of the Central Eastern Alps, located at the border between Vorarlberg, Liechtenstein and Graubünden. It is the geological border between the Eastern and Western Alps and stretches from the Montafon as far as the Rhine. In the south, the Prättigau is its limit, and in the north, it is the Walgau. In the east, it borders the Silvretta groups. The Rätikon mountain range derives its name from Raetia, a province of the Roman Empire, named after the Rhaetian (Raeti or Rhaeti) people.

Prinzip Hoffnung (in English: Principle Hope or Principle of Hope), is a 40-metre (130 ft) long traditional climbing route on a thin crack up a conglomerate rock slab on the "Bürs plate cliff" (German: Bürser Platte) overlooking the village of Bürs in Vorarlberg, Austria. The route was greenpointed by Austrian climber Beat Kammerlander in 2009, and was one of the earliest traditional climbing routes to be graded at 5.14 R (American), 8b/+ (French), X/X+ (UIAA), or E9-E10 (British); it is still considered one of the hardest traditional climbing routes in the world.

The Drusenfluh is a mountain in the Rätikon range of the Alps, located on the border between Austria and Switzerland. According to the Swisstopo map, the mountain both includes the 2827 m Drusenfluh on the border and the three peaks named the Drei Türme ("Three Towers"), the highest of which (2830 m) is north of the main ridge on the Austrian site. The Drusenfluh and Drei Türme are separated by the 2637 m Eisjöchl. After Christian Zudrell's first ascent, it took 18 years before a second ascent was successful. This second tour ended all doubts about the first ascent as the two mountaineers, Karl Blodig und Eugen Sohm, encountered a rock on the peak of the mountain, that had the signs "C Z 70" engraved, the "visiting card" that Zudrell had left on the peak. This piece of rock was brought to the Lindauer Hütte in 1995 to protect it, as weather and lightnings had destroyed it more and more. There are several routes for climbers mainly in the sheer drops of the southern face (which is the Graubünden side on Swiss territory.) From the Austrian side, one of the Drei Türme can be reached via a mountain path from the Lindauer Hut (Swiss grade T4, signposted white and blue).The multi-day hike "Prättigauer Höhenweg" passes south of the mountain.

The Alfenz is a river of Voralberg, Austria. The Alfenz is approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) long and the main river in the valley Klostertal. It originates from the confluence of the Flexenbach and the Rauzbach near Stuben. and flows in western direction. The river's flow created the Klostertal. The Alfenz flows into the Ill 3.5 km (2.2 mi) east of Bludenz. Villages near the river include Klösterle and Dalaas. The S16 expressway (Arlberg Schnellstraße) runs alongside the river. The origin of the Alfenz is close to the European watershed. The Alfenz belongs to the Rhine basin, while across the Arlberg to the east the water flows into the Danube. The Alfenz carries rocks from the Northern Limestone Alps that crop out north of the river and the Silvretta Crystalline which crops out in the south.
