George Makepeace House

Chesterfield is a town in the U.S. state of Indiana which lies in Union Township, Madison County, and Salem Township, Delaware County. The population was 2,490 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Indianapolis–Carmel–Anderson metropolitan statistical area.

Camp Chesterfield was founded in 1891 and is the home of the Indiana Association of Spiritualists, located in Chesterfield, Indiana. Camp Chesterfield offers Spiritualist Church services, seminary, and mediumship, faith healing, and spiritual development classes, as well as psychic readings for patrons. In 2002, the camp was designated a historic district, the "Chesterfield Spiritualist Camp District," and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Anderson Municipal Airport (IATA: AID, ICAO: KAID, FAA LID: AID) (Darlington Field) is a public use airport three miles east of Anderson in Madison County, Indiana. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation facility. The airport currently has no scheduled air service however, is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the State of Indiana given its high volume of flight training and charter traffic.

Union Township is one of fourteen townships in Madison County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 8,898 and it contained 4,004 housing units.

Highland High School was a public high school located in Anderson, Indiana. It was part of the Anderson Community School Corporation. The school consolidated with Anderson High School after the 2009-10 academic year and the former Highland High School building is now used to house Highland Middle School.

Daleville Junior-Senior High School is a middle school and high school located in Daleville, Indiana.

Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino is a racino including a standardbred racetrack located in Anderson, Indiana, approximately 30 miles northeast of Indianapolis. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. The facility features live harness racing from April through November, casino gaming, restaurants, a gift shop, and entertainment. The $300,000 Dan Patch Stakes was established at Hoosier Park in 1994 and has become a tradition that highlights some of the best athletes in the sport of harness racing. The 2017 Breeders Crown, harness racing's annual series of 12 championship events valued at $6 million, was contested at Hoosier Park on October 27 & 28. The 2020 edition of the Breeders Crown occurred Oct. 30 & 31, while the 2023 edition is scheduled to be held at Harrah's Hoosier Park once again.Hoosier Park offers off-track betting (OTB) at three locations in Indiana: Clarksville, Indianapolis, and New Haven. Hoosier Park also offers simulcast wagering year-round. Hoosier Park has hosted musicians such as The B-52's, The Go-Go's, Willie Nelson, REO Speedwagon, and The Beach Boys.

Mounds Mall is a defunct enclosed shopping mall located in the city of Anderson, Indiana, United States. Opened in stages between 1964 and 1965, it was the first enclosed mall developed by Melvin Simon & Associates, now known as Simon Property Group. The mall's original anchor stores were H. P. Wasson and Company, Montgomery Ward, and J. C. Penney; over time, the Wasson store became Meis, Elder-Beerman, and Carson's, while Montgomery Ward became Sears and J. C. Penney was torn down and rebuilt as a movie theater. After a period of decline, Mounds Mall closed to the public in April 2018. The movie theater closed a year later, leaving no businesses in the building.

The O.C. Lewis Gymnasium is a 3000-seat multi-purpose arena in Anderson, Indiana, USA on the Anderson University campus. It hosts local sporting events and gymkhana. It was home to the Indiana Alley Cats, in 2005, and the Anderson University Ravens basketball teams. The arena opened in 1962.

Macholtz Stadium is a 4,300-seat multi-purpose stadium in Anderson, Indiana. The facility is located on the campus of Anderson University and is named in honor of Dr. James Macholtz who served as coach of the Anderson University football, Track and Field programs, and men's and women's lacrosse.The stadium is primarily used for American football and track and field. It is home to the Anderson University football and track and field teams. The facility opened in 1977.In 2015, the Indianapolis Colts returned to Macholtz Stadium for training camp.

York Prairie Creek is a stream and tributary of the White River in Muncie, Indiana. The stream forms in Muncie near Ball State University and flows across the northern part of its campus near Worthen Arena. It then flows westward across Delaware County and eventually merges into the White River in Daleville, Indiana.
