Mounds Mall is a defunct enclosed shopping mall located in the city of Anderson, Indiana, United States. Opened in stages between 1964 and 1965, it was the first enclosed mall developed by Melvin Simon & Associates, now known as Simon Property Group. The mall's original anchor stores were H. P. Wasson and Company, Montgomery Ward, and J. C. Penney; over time, the Wasson store became Meis, Elder-Beerman, and Carson's, while Montgomery Ward became Sears and J. C. Penney was torn down and rebuilt as a movie theater. After a period of decline, Mounds Mall closed to the public in April 2018. The movie theater closed a year later, leaving no businesses in the building.

Liberty Christian School is a private Christian school located in Anderson, Indiana. Liberty Christian School is a private, non-denominational Christian school serving pre-school through 12th grade. Founded in 1976, Liberty has two campuses and a self-electing board governs the school. Liberty Christian is accredited by the Association for Christian Schools International (ACSI) and holds memberships with School Choice Indiana and the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA).

The Central Avenue School is a historic school building in Anderson, Indiana, United States. It was built in 1891, and is a two-story, Romanesque Revival style brick and stone building on a raised basement. The building features two three-story towers. Attached to the original building is a Bungalow / American Craftsman style addition constructed in 1921. The building housed a school until 1974.: 5, 21 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Anderson Municipal Airport (IATA: AID, ICAO: KAID, FAA LID: AID) (Darlington Field) is a public use airport three miles east of Anderson in Madison County, Indiana. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a general aviation facility. The airport currently has no scheduled air service however, is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the State of Indiana given its high volume of flight training and charter traffic.

The O.C. Lewis Gymnasium is a 3000-seat multi-purpose arena in Anderson, Indiana, USA on the Anderson University campus. It hosts local sporting events and gymkhana. It was home to the Indiana Alley Cats, in 2005, and the Anderson University Ravens basketball teams. The arena opened in 1962.

Anderson University School of Theology is the graduate theological school affiliated with the Church of God (Anderson). It is a part of Anderson University and receives students from Azusa Pacific University, Bay Ridge Christian College, Gardner College, Mid-America Christian University, Warner Pacific College, Warner University, and other schools.

Anderson University is a private Christian university in Anderson, Indiana. It is affiliated with the Church of God. The university offers more than 60 undergraduate majors as well as graduate programs in business, music, and theology.

Macholtz Stadium is a 4,300-seat multi-purpose stadium in Anderson, Indiana. The facility is located on the campus of Anderson University and is named in honor of Dr. James Macholtz who served as coach of the Anderson University football, Track and Field programs, and men's and women's lacrosse.The stadium is primarily used for American football and track and field. It is home to the Anderson University football and track and field teams. The facility opened in 1977.In 2015, the Indianapolis Colts returned to Macholtz Stadium for training camp.

The Anderson Paramount Theatre (now known as The Paramount Theatre Centre & Ballroom) is a historic movie theater located in Anderson, Madison County, Indiana. It opened on August 20, 1929, and at the time was part of the Publix Chain of theaters, owned by Paramount Pictures (hence the theater's name). The theater was designed by the famous movie theater architect, John Eberson. The Paramount is an atmospheric theater (an architectural style that gave the appearance of an open star-filled sky) and is one of twelve atmospheric theaters left standing in the United States and Canada. The auditorium was decorated in the style of a Spanish village.It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.The theater has been extensively restored and reopened in 1995 as the Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom. The theater includes its original Page theater organ, now restored. A contest for "Best Decorated Christmas Tree" is held in the theater every Christmas.

Anderson Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Anderson, Madison County, Indiana. The district dates from c. 1887-1955 and encompasses 32 contributing buildings in the central business district of Anderson. Despite some loss of integrity due to demolition and alteration, the district still includes a significant collection of historic and architecturally distinguished commercial buildings. Aside from the usual historic commercial impact of similar districts, this district includes several properties that illustrate Anderson's transportation heritage. Included in the district or nearby are the following individual sites on the National Register of Historic Places: Paramount Theatre, Tower Hotel, Anderson Bank Building, Gruenewald House, and The Anderson Center for the Arts. Additional notable or interesting buildings include the Union Building, the State Theater, the Central Christian Church, the Anderson YMCA, the old post office and the Big Four.It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
