A statue of Sir Joshua Reynolds stands in the Annenberg Courtyard of Burlington House, off Piccadilly in the City of Westminster, London, England. Reynolds was the first president of the Royal Academy, who occupy the main wing of Burlington House. The work is by Alfred Drury, himself a member of the RA, and was erected by the RA and the Leighton Fund in 1931. It was Grade II listed in February 1970 and its inscription was re-carved 2002.Near the statue are fountains, installed in 2000, arranged in the pattern of the planets at the time of Reynolds' birth.

The Albany, or simply Albany, is an apartment complex in Piccadilly, London. The three-storey mansion was built in the 1770s and divided into apartments in 1802.

The Geological Society of London, known commonly as the Geological Society, is a learned society based in the United Kingdom. It is the oldest national geological society in the world and the largest in Europe with more than 12,000 Fellows. Fellows are entitled to the postnominal FGS (Fellow of the Geological Society), over 2,000 of whom are Chartered Geologists (CGeol). The Society is a Registered Charity, No. 210161. It is also a member of the Science Council, and is licensed to award Chartered Scientist to qualifying members. The mission of the society is: "Making geologists acquainted with each other, stimulating their zeal, inducing them to adopt one nomenclature, facilitating the communication of new facts and ascertaining what is known in their science and what remains to be discovered".

Burlington House is a building on Piccadilly in Mayfair, London. It was originally a private Neo-Palladian mansion owned by the Earls of Burlington and was expanded in the mid-19th century after being purchased by the British government. Today, the Royal Academy and five learned societies occupy much of the building.

Contemporary Indian Art was an exhibition held from September 18 – October 31, 1982 at The Royal Academy of Arts in London. The exhibition featured two sections, I. The Gesture, and Motif, which was on view from September 18 – October 5, 1982, and II. Stories, Situations, which was on view from October 9 – 31, 1982. The exhibition was co-curated by Akbar Padamsee, Richard Bartholomew, and Geeta Kapur.The exhibition was part of the ''Festival of India,'' a six-month showcase for Indian culture and art co-sponsored by the governments of the United Kingdom and India. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi remarked at the opening, ''The links between our two peoples have always been unique. That is why this artistic celebration means so much to us, and to them.''

The Royal Academy of Arts (RA) is an art institution based in Burlington House on Piccadilly in London. Founded in 1768, it has a unique position as an independent, privately funded institution led by eminent artists and architects. Its purpose is to promote the creation, enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts through exhibitions, education and debate.

Fortnum & Mason (colloquially often shortened to just Fortnum's) is an upmarket department store in Piccadilly, London, with additional stores at The Royal Exchange, St Pancras railway station, Heathrow Airport in London and K11 Musea In Hong Kong, as well as various stockists worldwide. Its headquarters are located at 181 Piccadilly, where it was established in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason. Today, it is privately owned by Wittington Investments Limited.Founded as a grocery store, Fortnum's reputation was built on supplying quality food, and saw rapid growth throughout the Victorian era. Though Fortnum's developed into a department store, it continues to focus on stocking a variety of exotic, speciality and also 'basic' provisions.The store has since opened several other departments, such as the Gentlemen's department on the first floor. It is also the location of a tea shop and several restaurants.

The Egyptian Hall in Piccadilly, London, was an exhibition hall built in the ancient Egyptian style in 1812, to the designs of Peter Frederick Robinson. The Hall was a considerable success, with exhibitions of artwork and of Napoleonic era relics. The hall was later used for popular entertainments and lectures, and developed an association with magic and spiritualism, becoming known as "England's Home of Mystery". In 1905, the building was demolished to make way for flats and offices.

Piccadilly Arcade runs between Piccadilly and Jermyn Street in central London. It was opened in 1909, having been designed by Thrale Jell, and is a Grade II listed building.The arcade is composed of twenty-eight shops on the ground floor. The first floor was originally offices, but converted to the Felix Hotel in 1915. The buildings were bombed in 1941 during World War II and not fully restored until 1957.Among the shops in the arcade are the Royal Warrant holder Benson & Clegg, who moved here in 1976 from their previous location in Jermyn Street.A bronze statue of Beau Brummell sits at the Jermyn Street end of the arcade, designed by Irena Sidiecka.

Sackville Street is a street in central London which today is mainly composed of offices and the rears of retail premises, but once was the home to several important medical figures.

Bentley & Skinner is a British family held company specialising in fine antique jewelry, silver and objects of art by Carl Faberge. Bentley & Skinner are jewellers and silversmiths by appointment to the Queen and the Prince of Wales.Skinner & Co was founded in 1880, and began supplying jewelry to the English Royal family during Queen Victoria's reign. Bentley & Co was founded in 1934. The amalgamation of the two companies in 1997 created Bentley & Skinner, located today at 55 Piccadily in Mayfair London. In 2007 the jewellers created the diamond-encrusted skull sculpture For the Love of God for Damien Hirst.

The Sackville Gallery was an art gallery at 28 Sackville Street, London, best known for hosting the exhibition of Futurist art in 1912.The gallery opened in May 1908. It was owned and run by Max Rothschild and Robert René Meyer-Sée until Meyer-Sée left to run the Marlborough Gallery in August 1912. The gallery specialised in the sale of old master works and the Futurist exhibition was untypical of its activities.The gallery closed in 1939.
