San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (IATA: SBP, ICAO: KSBP, FAA LID: SBP), McChesney Field is a civil airport near San Luis Obispo, California, United States. Three passenger airlines serve the airport with nonstop flights to eight cities: Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. The airport was established in 1939 and used by the U.S. military between 1939 and 1945.

Islay Hill is a volcanic cone, and is the southernmost of the nine volcanic mountains and hills that make up the Nine Sisters, located in the San Luis Obispo County of central California. This chain of extinct, but possibly dormant volcanoes, the eight others volcanic plugs, stretches from Morro Bay southeast to Islay Hill, which is on the southeast side of San Luis Obispo (city).

The Myron Angel House is a historic house located at 714 Buchon St. in San Luis Obispo, California. Built circa 1880, the house has a vernacular design which does not follow a particular architectural style. The two-story wood-frame house has redwood siding, a shingled gable roof, and some Eastlake details in the window surrounds and gable ends. The house was once the home of Myron Angel, the main figure in the establishment of California Polytechnic State University. Angel, who lived in the house from 1889 to his 1911 death, proposed and lobbied for the creation of a polytechnic school in California; it was mainly due to his campaign that Cal Poly was founded in San Luis Obispo. In addition to his educational activism, Angel was also an influential journalist and historian.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 22, 1982.

The Pacific Coast Railway Company Grain Warehouse is a warehouse building located at 65 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo, California. The warehouse is the only surviving building from the Pacific Coast Railway's headquarters as well as the only extant grain storage building in San Luis Obispo. The date of the building's construction is uncertain; city records state that it was built in 1885, but it may have been rebuilt in 1892–93 after a fire. The wood frame building has corrugated iron paneling on its walls and roof, a typical design for contemporary storage buildings. The Pacific Coast Railway used the warehouse from its construction until the railway folded in 1942; the warehouse held grain grown in the region, which was at the time a major producer of grain and beans.The warehouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 1988.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is a parish of the Episcopal Church in San Luis Obispo, California. The parish was established in 1867, and the church building was completed shortly thereafter. The current Rector is Rev. Ian Delinger.

The Dallidet Adobe and Gardens is a California Historical Landmark (#720) in San Luis Obispo, California. The site was originally the property of Pierre Hypolite Dallidet, who came to San Francisco in search of gold in 1850.His son, Paul Dallidet, transferred it to the San Luis Obispo County Historical Society in 1953, in his family's memory.

The Kundert Medical Clinic is a building in San Luis Obispo, California, United States, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and was completed in 1956. It is notable for being one of the few commercial buildings designed by Wright. Dr. Karl Kundert and his tenant, Dr. Fogo, were both ophthalmologists from Wisconsin and were familiar with Wright's work. (Storrer, 425) The construction of the building was supervised by Wright protégé, Aaron Green. This building is now occupied by cardiologist Kenneth Tway, MD.

San Luis Obispo High School, also referred to as "San Luis High" and "SLO High", is an American public high school in San Luis Obispo, California. It is the only non-continuation public high school within the city. The school is within the San Luis Coastal Unified School District (SLCUSD), serving primarily students living in San Luis Obispo. Before the school's addition of ninth grade in 1982, the school was known as "San Luis Obispo Senior High School" (SLOSH). School colors are black and gold.

The Robert Jack House, at 536 Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo, California, is a two-story Italianate-style historic house. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The listing included two contributing buildings.The Jack House is now owned by the City of San Luis Obispo. Volunteer docents offer guided tours on Sundays from April through November, and the house is also open for holiday celebrations and special events. The house was built by, and was a home of, Robert Edgar Jack (died 1916), who was "a prominent banker and land developer and wool grower in Central California.": 8  The house was deemed significant for its association with Jack. He lived there from 1882 until his death. Jack, as a banker and a leading citizen, was quite involved in promoting the development of railroad through the central coast, and also benefited economically from the railroad. The house is also perhaps of significance architecturally as a good example of Italianate architecture.
