Damariscotta Lake State Park is a public recreation area located in the town of Jefferson, Lincoln County Maine. The park occupies 19 acres (7.7 ha) at the northeast corner of 10-mile-long (16 km) Damariscotta Lake. It is managed by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

It is located on the south side of Gardiner Road (Maine State Route 126), about 0.75 miles (1.21 km) west of its junction with Maine State Route 213. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Damariscotta Lake is a lake in Lincoln County, Maine. Damariscota Lake, which covers 4,300 acres (1,700 ha), encompasses part of the towns of Jefferson, Nobleboro, and Newcastle. Damariscotta Lake State Park in Jefferson occupies 19 acres at the far northern end of the lake. The lake is known for its annual run of alewives and the dam and fish ladder built in 1807 at Damariscotta Mills at the lake's southern tip.

The Godfrey Ludwig House is a historic house on Maine State Route 32 in Waldoboro, Maine. Built about 1800, it is a well-preserved brick Cape house, built by a descendant of one of the area's early German immigrants. It is notable for features enabling its use as a church. Both were prominent regional award-winning writers, and the farm property played a prominent role on some of their writings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The West Branch Sheepscot River is a 24.9-mile-long (40.1 km) river in Maine. The branch originates in the northwest corner of Palermo (44°27′27″N 69°25′20″W) and flows southwesterly through Branch Pond and the village of Weeks Mills in the town of China. The branch then flows southerly through the town of Windsor to a confluence with the Sheepscot River between Coopers Mills and North Whitefield. The branch is bridged by Maine State Route 3 between Branch Pond and Weeks Mills, by Maine State Route 105 at Windsor and by concurrent Maine State Routes 17 and 32 near Coopers Mills.
