Shōen-ji

Ohtani Junior and Senior High School (大谷中学校・高等学校, Ōtani Chūgakkō Kōtōgakkō) is a private Buddhist girls' secondary school in Abeno-ku, Osaka. In 1909 the school was first established. As of 2019 it had 1,406 students. It is a member of the Alliance of Girls' Schools Australasia.

Osaka Christian College (大阪キリスト教短期大学, Ōsaka kirisuto-kyō tanki daigaku) is a private junior college in Osaka, Osaka, Japan, established in 1952. Its primary focus has been training young women for teaching careers, and it has an exchange program with Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. It is affiliated with the Free Methodist Church and has a related graduate school of theology for training of pastors.

Higashi-Tengachaya Station (東天下茶屋駅, Higashi-Tengachaya Eki, station number: HN04) is a tramway stop in Abeno-ku, Osaka, Japan on the Hankai Tramway Uemachi Line.

Tengachaya Station (天下茶屋駅, Tengachaya-eki) is a Nankai Electric Railway and Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line railway station and metro station in Nishinari-ku, Osaka. It is the terminal station of the southern end of the Sakaisuji Line. All trains of the Nankai Main Line and the Kōya Line of Nankai Electric Railway stop at Tengachaya. This station is situated relatively close to Kishinosato on the Yotsubashi Line, but there are no transfer passageways between the two stations.

Abeno Shrine (阿部野神社, Abeno jinja) is a Shinto shrine located in Abeno-ku, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Its main festival is held annually on January 24. It was founded in 1882, and enshrines the kami of Kitabatake Chikafusa and Kitabatake Akiie. It is one of the Fifteen Shrines of the Kenmu Restoration.

Nishinari-ku (西成区) is one of the 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. It contains some shopping and entertainment areas, such as Tamade. It lies directly south of the Namba transport hub and extends further south toward Sumiyoshi Park. It is served by the Nankai Railway lines as well as the Yotsubashi and Sakaisuji subway lines. Nishinari-ku is also home to a number of shitamachi ("lower-town") shopping streets, increasingly a rarity in fast-developing urban Japan. Kamagasaki in Nishinari-ku is home to many day-laborers and most of the homeless people in Osaka.

Tobita Shinchi (飛田新地), also known as Tobita Yūkaku (飛田遊廓), is the largest of the brothel districts in Osaka, and also the largest in western Japan. It is located in the Sanno 3-chōme area of Nishinari-ku, Osaka. Tobita Shinchi dates from the Taishō period. To circumvent the anti-prostitution laws, the brothels operate largely under the guise of being "Japanese-style restaurants" (Ryoutei).

Abeno (阿倍野 or 阿部野) is an ancient name of a plain in the Settsu Province of Japan, presently in Osaka Prefecture, south of Yodo River and west of Uemachi Plateau (上町台地, Uemachi daichi). It was the scene of several battles during the Sengoku period.
