Kockelscheuer

The Kockelscheuer Sport Centre (aka CK Sport Center, Kockelscheuer) is a tennis complex in Kockelscheuer, Luxembourg.In April 1984, a men's tournament single edition was organized as part of the Grand Prix circuit. It was played indoors on carpet. Ivan Lendl won the singles event after defeating Tomáš Šmíd in the final (6–4, 6–4) while singles runner-up Tomáš Šmíd teamed-up with Anders Järryd to win the doubles event against Mark Edmondson and Sherwood Stewart (6–3, 7–5). Currently, the complex is the host of the annual international stop, the BGL Luxembourg Open.

The Stade de Luxembourg is the national stadium of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, located in the Luxembourg City quarter of Gasperich. The stadium is host to Luxembourg's national football and rugby teams, as well as the final of the Coupe de Luxembourg, and is listed as a Category 4 stadium by UEFA allowing it to host international matches. Construction on the stadium occurred between September 2017 and July 2021, missing the original 2019 target date for completion. On 1 September 2021, the stadium marked its official opening by hosting its first international match between the Luxembourg and Azerbaijan men's football teams as part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The inauguration ceremony for the stadium took place later that month, on 25 September. The Stade de Luxembourg replaces the outdated Josy Barthel stadium, due for demolition.

The Croix de Gasperich (Luxembourgish: Gaasperech Kräiz, German: Gaspericher Kreuz) is a motorway interchange in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is the junction between three of Luxembourg's six motorways: the western terminus of the A1 continues seamlessly as it meets the eastern terminus of the A6, whilst the A3 passes underneath the two on its way from Luxembourg City to Dudelange. It lies in the Gasperich quarter, in the south of the city, hence its name.

The Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency (Chafea) was an executive agency of the European Union, set up by the European Commission to manage four programmes on its behalf, in the domains of health, consumer protection, food safety, and the promotion of European agricultural products. From April 2021 on, these programmes were reassigned to other agencies, most notably the newly created Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).

The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) is a public-private partnership in High Performance Computing (HPC), enabling the pooling of European Union–level resources with the resources of participating EU Member States and participating associated states of the Horizon Europe and Digital Europe programmes, as well as private stakeholders. The Joint Undertaking has the twin stated aims of developing a pan-European supercomputing infrastructure, and supporting research and innovation activities. Located in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, the Joint Undertaking started operating in November 2018 under the control of the European Commission and became autonomous in 2020.

The Euroforum building (also known as EUFO) is an office complex used by the European Commission in Cloche d'Or, Gasperich, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. It hosts, amongst other European Commission departments, the Euratom Supply Agency.

The Photothèque (officially Photothèque de la Ville de Luxembourg) in Luxembourg City in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg houses several large collections of photographs of the city taken between 1855 and today. Open to the public, it is modelled on the photothèque at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and has adopted the same classification system.

Lycée Vauban is the French High School located in Gasperich, a quarter of Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg.

Bivange (Luxembourgish: Béiweng, German: Bivingen) is a small town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. The town is known for as the birthplace of Luxembourg American photographer Edward Steichen. As of 2005, the town has a population of 594.

Cessange (Luxembourgish: Zéisseng, pronounced [ˈtsəɪseŋ] ; German: Zessingen) is a quarter in south-western Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. Most of the quarter is covered by open fields to the south-west of Luxembourg City proper. At the centre of the quarter is the Croix de Cessange: a motorway junction between the A4 and the A6. Next to the intersection is Stade Boy Konen, which plays host to FC CeBra 01, Rugby Club Luxembourg, and the Luxembourg national rugby union team.

Gasperich (Luxembourgish: Gaasperech, pronounced [ˈɡaːspəʀəɕ] ) is a quarter in southern Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. As of 31 December 2022, the quarter has a population of 9,694 inhabitants.In 2017, major building works began on a new development providing for dozens of large office buildings, hundreds of residences and a new shopping centre and Auchan hypermarket.

Berchem railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Bierchem, French: Gare de Berchem, German: Bahnhof Berchem) is a railway station serving Berchem, in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 60, which connects Luxembourg City to the Red Lands of the south of the country.
