Woodland Park School District (New Jersey)
The Woodland Park School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from the Borough of Woodland Park (formerly known as West Paterson), in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising three schools, had an enrollment of 1,080 students and 88.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students attend Passaic Valley Regional High School, which also serves students from Little Falls and Totowa. The school facility is located in Little Falls. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,186 students and 102.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.6:1.
