St Sadwrn's Church, Llansadwrn

Llansadwrn (; Welsh: [ɬanˈsadʊn]; Welsh pronunciation) is a small village in the community of Cwm Cadnant in south-east Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It lies between Menai Bridge, Pentraeth and Beaumaris. It is named after the church, founded in the 6th century by Saint Saturninus, who together with his wife, is commemorated by an early Christian monument. St Sadwrn's Church is a Grade II*-listed building.The village was the birthplace of Wyn Roberts, Baron Roberts of Conwy who was a notable Conservative front-bencher for many years.Close to the village was the site of the excavations that revealed the existence of Bryn Eryr Iron Age farmstead.

Cwm Cadnant is a community and former electoral ward in Anglesey, north Wales. Named after the local river, Afon Cadnant, which flows through it, the community takes in the area between the Menai Bridge and Beaumaris. The community includes the villages of Llandegfan, Hen Bentref Llandegfan and Llansadwrn and at the 2001 census it had a population of 2,222, increasing slightly to 2,254 at the 2011 census.Prior to the 2013 Isle of Anglesey County Council election Cwm Cadnant was an electoral ward in its own right. It is now part of the Seiriol ward, which includes the neighbouring Beaumaris, Llanddona, and Llangoed communities.The lower part of the Afon Cadnant, which passes through part of Llandegfan is Cadnant Dingle, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The site was selected as an example of Brachypodium sylvaticum – Quercus/Fraxinus broadleaved woodland.

Menai Bridge (Welsh: Porthaethwy; usually referred to colloquially as Y Borth) is a town and community on the Isle of Anglesey in north-west Wales. It overlooks the Menai Strait and lies by the Menai Suspension Bridge, built in 1826 by Thomas Telford, just over the water from Bangor. With a population of 3,376, it is the fifth largest town on the island. Ynys y Bîg is a small private island in the Menai Strait attached to the island of Anglesey (in North Wales) by a wooden bridge. The bridge runs from the grounds of a private house, itself also called Ynys y Bîg, preventing any public access. The bridge fell into disrepair but was reconstructed in 2019. The island lies about 1 mile north-east of the Menai Suspension Bridge and is part of the Glannau Porthaethwy SSSI. At mean low tide there is no water separating it from the mainland, whilst at high tide it is separate with an area of 0.7 acres. It is heavily wooded and in some years herons nest there in some numbers.

Ysgol David Hughes (meaning: David Hughes School) is a bilingual secondary school on Anglesey, Wales. The school building was completed and opened in Menai Bridge in 1963 by Anglesey County Council which, ten years earlier (in 1953), had become the first education authority in the UK to adopt non-selective comprehensive education.The new school in Menai Bridge catered for all the secondary pupils in South East Anglesey who up to then had been educated four miles away in Beaumaris, the former county town of Anglesey.
