Hot Springs Historic District in North Carolina is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. The National Park Service states: This district is significant as the historic center of a small mountain community in the northwest corner of Madison County, NC. Once natural warm springs were discovered by settlers in the early nineteenth century, the town became one of the earliest resort communities in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in February, 2009. The statue was the Highlighted Property of the Week when the National Park Service released its weekly list of February 13, 2009. The historic district was devasted by flooding caused by Hurricane Helene on September 27th, 2024.

Dorland Memorial Presbyterian Church is historic Presbyterian church located on Bridge Street at Meadow Lane in Hot Springs, Madison County, North Carolina. It was designed by architect Richard Sharp Smith and built in 1900. It is a cruciform plan church with a splayed, gable roof, pebbledash exterior, and Gothic windows. Atop the roof is a four sided belfry surmounted by an octagonal steeple. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Sunnybank, also known as The Inn at Hot Springs, is a historic home located at Hot Springs, Madison County, North Carolina. It was built about 1875, and is a two-story, rambling Italianate style frame building. It has a complex roof system of intersecting gables with deep eaves and large curvilinear sawn brackets. It was built as a private summer home, then opened as a boardinghouse in 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

It was built about 1855, and is a two-story, three-bay, vernacular Greek Revival-style brick dwelling. It has double-pile plan with hipped roof and paired interior chimneys. The front facade features a two-story, single-bay entrance portico. Also on the property are the contributing major barn (1908), carriage house, and slaughter house. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Jupiter is an unincorporated community in northwestern Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States, located off U.S. Highway 25/70, and Interstate 26. It was disincorporated in 1970. It lies at an elevation of 2,175 feet (663 m).

Camp Academy, also known as Camp Forest, is a historic building located in Leicester, Buncombe County, North Carolina. Built in 1896/7 with funds collected by the local Methodist Episcopal community, it stands on a low ridge on New Leicester Highway at the southeast edge of the former Turkey Creek Meeting Campground, a famous revival campground meeting site which existed from the late 1700s until 1893. The 4800 sq. ft. two-story, five-bay, vernacular Colonial Revival style brick building served the community as a private academy and teacher training institute from 1897 until 1913 when publicly funded education came to this section of Buncombe County. It later became an apartment house, and after 1983 a medical clinic. It operated as the Camp Forest hotel in the 1920s. It is the last remaining tuition academy building in the county.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
