Pasadena is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Mitcham.

Springbank Secondary College (formerly known as Pasadena High School) is a public high school in the suburb of Pasadena in southern Adelaide, South Australia. The inclusive school is on the corner of Goodwood Road and Daws Road. Springbank is a specialist basketball school. In 2017 it also adopted a science, technology, engineering, arts and maths focus, and announced formal links with the Australian Science and Mathematics School and Flinders University.The school's basketball academy is led by Brendan Mann - said to be one of the best junior players ever to play in SA. Mann played over 200 NBL games for Canberra, Brisbane and Newcastle. He has coached in Europe and was a FIBA scout for the 2017 Under 19 Men’s World Cup. Springbank has a high-ranking ice hockey team, Springbank Sabres, which has won numerous awards, and a dedicated disability unit in an inclusive model where the students with disabilities learn and socialise alongside their mainstream peers. It also offers "Doorways 2 Construction", run in collaboration with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), TAFE and ATEC. The program is offered to Year 11 and 12 students through the Inner South Curriculum Alliance. Students complete 10 units of course work developed by the CITB as part of its Certificate I in General Construction program.

The Repatriation General Hospital at Daw Park, South Australia (an inner-southern suburb of Adelaide), also commonly referred to as "The Repat" or just "Repat", was one of a number of Repatriation General Hospitals set up by the Commonwealth Government around the time of World War II to cater for returned serviceman. The various Repats were initially set up as Army hospitals before becoming Repatriation General Hospitals administered by the Repatriation Commission, (now called the Department of Veterans' Affairs). In general, Health in Australia is a State Government responsibility. In the mid 1990s, the Commonwealth Government divested itself of these hospitals, and they have now become either public hospitals under State Government administration, or private hospitals.

Elder is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It is named after nineteenth-century businessman and philanthropist Sir Thomas Elder. Elder is an 18.3 km² suburban electorate in Adelaide's inner south, taking in the suburbs of Clapham, Clovelly Park, Colonel Light Gardens, Cumberland Park, Daw Park, Hawthorn, Lower Mitcham, Melrose Park, Mitchell Park, Panorama, Pasadena, St Marys, Tonsley, and Westbourne Park. Elder was created as a marginal Labor electorate at the 1991 electoral redistribution taking suburbs in from much of the abolished Walsh and also from the redistributed Mitchell. Elder was won by Liberal David Wade with an 8.0 percent swing at the landslide Liberal victory of the 1993 election. Wade was defeated at the 1997 election – although he experienced a smaller than average swing of −6.1 percent, he only had a margin of 3.4 percent, and was easily defeated by Labor candidate Pat Conlon. Conlon was re-elected at the 2002 election and became a senior minister in the Rann government. The redistribution prior to the 2014 election reduced Labor's margin from 3.6 percent to 2.0 percent. Conlon retired in 2014 and Elder was retained by Labor's Annabel Digance. The 2016 redistribution ahead of the 2018 election changed Elder from a 1.8 percent Labor seat to a notional 4.3 percent Liberal seat.

Clovelly Park is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide in the local government area of the City of Marion. Before becoming an 'advanced' suburb, it was a farm and vineyard. The suburb is bordered by Daws Road to the north, South Road to the east, Sturt Road to the south, and a combination of Percy Avenue and the Flinders railway line to the west. It is situated approximately 20 minutes from the Adelaide city centre, and about 2 minutes from Flinders University, Flinders Medical Centre and Westfield Marion.

St Marys Park is one of the largest reserves within the suburb and was originally the training ground of the South Adelaide Football Club.

Melrose Park is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Mitcham. It is bordered by South Road, Daws Road, Winston Avenue and Edward Street. Until 1989, Melrose Park was part of the suburb of Edwardstown. The name change occurred as the suburb was quite large, located on either side of South Road and was in the jurisdiction of two local government councils, with the larger western side belonging to the City of Marion. The suburb was named after early South Australian aviator, Charles James Melrose.

Sleeps Hill was a former railway station that served a number of ballast quarries for the South Australian Railways (SAR). It was approximately 11–12 km from Adelaide railway station.

Colonel Light Gardens is a suburb located within the Australian City of Mitcham in the greater Adelaide region, approximately 7 km (4 mi) south of the Adelaide city centre. The area is 1.58 km2 (0.61 sq mi). Planned as a garden suburb, it is known for wide, tree-lined streets, presentable postwar bungalow homes, rounded street corners, and much manicured, well maintained open space. It contains Colonel Light Gardens Primary School, the Colonel Light Gardens RSL Sub-Branch, a number of sporting clubs using the name Reade Park, and a multitude of historical parks and gardens. It also contains many paved and unpaved laneways, alleyways and bike tracks. The suburb is of irregular shape and follows Goodwood Road. The major part of the suburb is east of Goodwood Road and is bounded by Grange Road (north), Goodwood Road (west), and Springbank Road (south), and the suburbs of Westbourne Park, Lower Mitcham, Clapham and Panorama. A smaller part of the suburb is west of Goodwood Road and divides the neighbouring Daw Park into two unjoined parts which are the northern and southern boundaries of this smaller part.

Daw Park is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, in the local government area of the City of Mitcham. The suburb is divided into two parts, with a smaller northern exclave separated from the larger southern part by a section of Colonel Light Gardens. The smaller northern exclave is surrounded by the suburbs of Colonel Light Gardens to the south and east, Cumberland Park to the north and Melrose Park to the west. The southern exclave is surrounded by Pasadena to the south, Melrose Park to the west, and Colonel Light Gardens to the north and east. Daw Park is part of the South Australian House of Assembly electoral district of Elder and the House of Representatives Division of Boothby.
