Dhakoli is a town in the municipality of Zirakpur, Mohali District, Punjab, India (also old village Dhakuli). It was incorporated in the municipality in 1999. Bakarpur is a large village in Mohali district in the Indian state of Punjab. Bakarpur had previously been shifted from Ambala district to Rupnagar district on formation of Haryana state on 1 November 1966. There is a large market, government senior secondary school, Primary health centre, veterinary hospital, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank and Punjab Gramin Bank. In 2009/10 large area of cultivated land of Bakarpur was acquired by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for construction of a 200-foot-wide (61 m) road from Mohali City to Mohali Airport which is also being connected to the Zirakpur-Patiala Road. Now the GMADA is going to develop new sectors along with this road and the same has been named as Aerocity. In year 2010 residential plots have been allotted by GMADA to the public by draw of lots. This village is on the newly created Mohali airport road.

Zirakpur is a satellite town, in Mohali District, Punjab, neighboring Mohali, Chandigarh in India. It is set on the foothills of Shivalik hills. It is part of the tehsil Dera Bassi. It is the gateway to Chandigarh from Delhi. Lohgarh is a village in Notified Area Committee of Zirakpur in district Mohali in state of Punjab in India. This is not to be confused with another namesake Lohgarh (Bilaspur) in Haryana which was capital of first Sikh state under Banda Singh Bahadur from 1710 to 1715. Chhatbir Zoo (formally Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park), is a zoological park situated close to Zirakpur, India. The zoo was constructed in the 1970s and is home to a large variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Lying on the Chandigarh-Zirakpur-Patiala route, this zoo is located about 20 km away from Chandigarh. The zoo was christened as the Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park after then governor of Punjab, Mahendra Chaudhary in 1977. A small number of animals brought from the Guwahati Zoo, Assam. It soon became the largest zoo in Punjab. Chattbir has India's longest walk-in aviary with 300m long walk showcases 32 species of indigenous and exotic birds. The section is made in five different themes included Terrestrial, Rock & Duck, Woodland, Japanese Trail and Rainforest. Tau Devi Lal Stadium is a multi-sport complex in located in Sector 3, Panchkula, a satellite town in the outskirts of Chandigarh. The stadium is capable of holding around 7000 spectators and came into picture because of the Indian Cricket League's inaugural Twenty20 tournament. The stadium has been leased by Government of Haryana and has got facilities to hold day-night matches. The outfield is rough and patchy and the pitch is an untested one. The stadium has practice facilities including four batting nets behind the ground all containing concrete pitches to bat on. The ground is yet to host first-class matches. but was one of three venues that was used by Indian Cricket League along with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad and Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad.

Tau Devi Lal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Sector 3, Panchkula, a satellite town in the outskirts of Chandigarh.It is the home ground of Indian Super League side RoundGlass Punjab FC, together with Guru Nanak Stadium.The ground situated next to Tau Devi Lal Cricket Stadium and consists of a synthetic running track and a football pitch at the center.
