Eastport Plaza is a shopping center located in Portland, Oregon, in the United States. It is anchored by Century 16 Theatres and LA Fitness Originally an enclosed shopping mall, construction began on October 20, 1959, and was carried out by the Anderson–Westfall Construction Company. It was one of the biggest construction projects in the Pacific Northwest at the time and cost $5 million. It opened on October 27, 1960.Former anchor stores included J. C. Penney, Mervyn's (which replaced Lipman's), Newberry's, Albertsons, Tower Records,Walmart and G.I. Joe's. It largely became a dead mall in the 1990s, particularly after Mervyn's relocated to Clackamas Promenade in 1988, part of a flight of businesses and customers to the newer, larger suburban mall to Eastport's south on 82nd Avenue. The enclosed structure was demolished in 1996, replaced by the current open-air shopping plaza.

The World Famous Cannabis Cafe is a former Cannabis dispensary open between 2009 and 2016 in Portland, Oregon. Established in 2009 by Madeline Martinez, then the Executive Director of Oregon NORML, the Cannabis Cafe was established as a place for Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) cardholders to socialize and safely use cannabis for medical purposes out of public view, as required by state law. Members of the club had to be a current OMMP cardholder and pay an entry fee. The cafe hosted a number of activities, including the annual Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards, which began in 2002. The OMCA was the first medical marijuana strain evaluation competition in the United States, and the only competition to track the medical conditions of the judges and medical effectiveness of the strains relative to specific conditions. The cafe also hosted a monthly (OMMP) Cardholder Meeting where the community of patients, caregivers and growers could stay up to date on legislative requirements and changes. After the Oregon Indoor Clean Air Act was expanded to include marijuana smoking and vaping, Martinez confirmed that the cafe would close on March 8, 2016.

Essex Park is a 4.43-acre (1.79 ha) public park in Portland, Oregon's Foster-Powell neighborhood, in the United States. The park was acquired in 1940. The park is the neighborhood's largest and features a playground, baseball field, basketball and tennis courts, and a splash pad. A mural was added in 2018.

Marshall High School is a former public high school in Portland, Oregon, United States. The school opened on September 6, 1960, and is named after John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the United States. The school was closed in 2011 as the Portland Public Schools district moved to consolidate students and resources into fewer high schools.
