Balžis is a lake in the north-eastern part of Vilnius City Municipality, Lithuania. It is surrounded by Nemenčinė-Lavoriškės pine forests. Its coasts are quite high, dry. Balžis is connected to Lake Juodis and Lake Skarbelis by small rivulets. The lake belongs to the Neris River basin. Lake Balžis is a popular recreation place for Vilnius inhabitants. In Soviet times, pioneer camp was located at the coast of the lake. Now Šilas city district is located around the lake. The name of the lake balžis comes from the word balžas which means "serene, clear, bright".

Pečiukai (Polish: Pieczuki) is a neighborhood of Vilnius located in the Antakalnis Eldership. It is situated northwest of the city center, on the left bank of the Neris river, south of Liepynė.

Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park (VCIIP) is an industrial park located in Vilnius, Lithuania. The park is 24 ha and has developed infrastructure. In 2015, VCIIP was granted the status of a national importance economic project.

Skirgiškės is a village in Vilnius District Municipality, in Riešė Eldership, situated on the right bank of the Neris river. It is located near the Europos Parkas.

Europos Parkas (the "Park of Europe") is a 50-hectare open-air museum located 17 km from Vilnius, Lithuania. The museum gives an artistic significance to the geographic centre of the European continent (as determined by the French National Geographic Institute in 1989) and presents Lithuanian and international modern art.

Botanical Garden of Vilnius University (Lithuanian: Vilniaus universiteto botanikos sodas) is a botanical garden situated in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Kairėnai Manor was a residential manor in Kairėnai near Vilnius, Lithuania. Only a few buildings and park survived until nowadays. Currently its territory is occupied by the Botanical Garden of Vilnius University.

Vilnius District Municipality (Lithuanian: Vilniaus rajono savivaldybė) is one of the 60 municipalities in Lithuania. It surrounds the capital city of Vilnius on three sides. The municipality is also bordered by Trakai district and Elektrėnai municipality in the west, Astravyets and Ashmyany districts of Belarus in the east, Širvintos, Molėtai and Švenčionys districts in the north and Šalčininkai district in the south. The population of the district is one of the fastest growing in Lithuania because of the migration of Vilnius' inhabitants to the suburbs. It stood at 114,726 in January 2023, up from 84 thousand in the early 1990s, or an increase by more than a third in less than 30 years.

Dvarčionių keramika was a ceramics tile producer in Lithuania and the largest ceramics producer in the Baltic states. It used to be traded on the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius exchange. The company went bankrupt in 2016.The company traces its history from a brickyard founded in 1888 in Dvarčionys. It was reconstructed in 1974, to a modern ceramics title producer. Opoczno, the largest ceramics manufacturer in Poland, bought 60.25% of the company in March 2005 for 11.5 million litas and additional 19% in January 2008, for 7.12 million litas. However, Lithuanian UAB Misota took the controlling stake in July 2009. In 2010, the company reported losses, and declining revenue.

Verkiai Regional Park is one of the Regional Parks in Lithuania. It is located almost entirely in Verkiai elderate of Vilnius municipality. The park was established in 1992 in order to protect natural complexes of the Green (Žalieji) Lakes and cultural complexes of Verkiai Palace and a park, Kalvarijos and Trinapolis as well as other valuables. The park occupies 2,673 ha (compared to 5,565 ha of the elderate), being one of the biggest city parks in the world. Forests cover 76.5%, reserves occupy 52.7%, and 23.9% of the territory is designated for recreation. Verkiai Calvary were established in the 17th century. The Calvary was completed in 1669 by the supervision of Dominican friars. It was constructed following the plan of Jerusalem, with the distances, water bodies and elevations being very close to the original. New chapels were constructed in the 18th century in Baroque style. Verkiai Calvary consists of 22 chapels, 7 wooden and brick gates, and two church ensembles. The Calvary have been visited by Christian worshipers from Vilnius region and abroad yearly in Pentecost. Almost all stations were completely destroyed in 1962 under the Soviet rule. After regaining the independence the reconstruction was started. Last chapels were rebuilt in 2002. Today the entire complex is reconstructed and is proclaimed an architectural monument of national significance.

Dvarčionys is a neighborhood of Vilnius located in the Antakalnis Eldership, 7 kilometers from the city center. Dvarčia stream flows through the area, which is surrounded by forests from all sides. The area is home to the largest ceramics tile producer in the Baltic states, AB Dvarčionių keramika.

Galgiai is a village in Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, it had population of 1,426, an increase from 1,011 in 2001, 811 in 1989 and just 96 in 1959.
