The Richard Sheppard Arnold United States Post Office and Courthouse is a courthouse of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas in Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed in 1932, in 2003 it was renamed for Court of Appeals judge Richard S. Arnold. It is located at 500 West Capitol Avenue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999 as Little Rock U.S. Post Office and Courthouse.

The Tavern, also known as the Jesse Hinderliter House, is a historic tavern house at 214 East 3rd Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story log structure, with a gabled roof and clapboarded exterior. Built c. 1820 and enlarged about 1834, it is believed to be the only surviving building in Little Rock from the state's territorial period. Its interior has exposed log beams with beaded corners, and an original hand-carved mantel.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

Trapnall Hall is a historic house at 423 East Capitol Avenue in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1843 for lawyer Frederic Trapnall; one of Arkansas's finest examples of pre-Civil War Greek Revival architecture. It is a single-story brick building, with a hip roof and a projecting temple portico supported by square columns. The building is now owned by the state, which uses it as an venue for public and private events.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) is a public library system headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. The largest public library system in Arkansas, the Central Arkansas Library System serves all residents of Pulaski County and Perry County, including Little Rock, Jacksonville, Maumelle, Perryville, Sherwood, and Wrightsville. So. The main Library in downtown Little Rock is the main branch of the system. The Main Library campus also includes the Arkansas Studies Institute Building, which includes the offices of the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, the Encyclopedia of Arkansas, and the UALR Center for Arkansas History and Culture. CALS' Ron Robinson Theater, Cox Creative Center, and River Market Books & Gifts are also located on the Main Library campus.

Block 35 Cobblestone Alley is located in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a 300-foot-long (91 m), 30-foot-wide (9.1 m) cobblestone alley, which bisects a city block known as Block 35 of the City of Little Rock. It was originally surfaced around 1889, and is one of the city's few surviving brick-paved alleys. It provides access to the rear of buildings facing President Clinton Boulevard. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in January, 2009.It was listed as a featured property of the week in a program of the National Park Service that began in July, 2008.

The Museum of Discovery, formerly the Arkansas Museum of Natural History and Antiquities, is located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The museum is housed in a historic building in the River Market District on the Arkansas River. The museum has a focus on STEM education, and all of the exhibits are interactive. It features a record-breaking musical bi-polar tesla coil, and also includes a large live animal collection.

The East Markham Street Historic District encompasses a cluster of four architecturally distinctive commercial buildings on the south side of the 300 block of East Markham Street in the riverfront area of Little Rock, Arkansas. All four are brick two-story buildings, and were built between 1876 and 1905. The buildings at 305-307 and 313 E. Markham are Italianate in style, while 301-303 exhibits Craftsman styling due to a renovation overseen by Charles L. Thompson in 1916, and 323 was also restyled by Thompson in 1905.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Curran Hall, also known as the Walters-Curran-Bell House, is a historic house at 615 East Capitol Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was built in 1842 for Colonel Ebenezer Walters. The single story house is built in the Greek Revival style with Doric pilasters at the entrance way. Two auxiliary buildings, constructed at about the same time as the main building, were moved and attached to the rear of the house in 1891.The house is significant as one of the few remaining antebellum era landmarks in Little Rock. It served as the home of pre-Civil war Arkansas Supreme Court Justice George Watkins. Jacob Frolich purchased the home after the war, who would become a post-reconstruction Arkansas Secretary of State. Before that, however, Frolich, an opponent of the reconstruction Arkansas government and fearful of reprisals, fortified Curran Hall with trap doors and placed his livestock inside the house at night. Frolich was indicted for the murder of a reputed informant for the reconstruction government and fled to Canada, but later returned and was acquitted of the charge.In 1976, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It was acquired by the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission in 1996, renovated, and opened as an information center in 2002.

The River Market District (also known as River Market Entertainment District or simply as the River Market) is a city park and network of walkways along the banks of the Arkansas River at Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. Lined by bars, shops, restaurants, nature, public artwork, and the five historic missions, the River Market is an important part of the city's urban fabric and a tourist attraction in its own right.

The Terminal Warehouse Building, also known as Markham Tower East, is a historic commercial building 500 East Markham Street in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Occupying a full city block, it is a massive four-story brick building, with a central eight-story tower on its Markham Street facade. Built in 1926, it is despite its utilitarian use (now as a mixed-use space), a fine example of Venetian Gothic architecture, and a reminder of the city's long history as an important transportation hub.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Nash House is a historic house at 409 East 6th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, with a hip roof and weatherboard siding. The main facade is divided in two, the right half recessed to create a porch on the right side, supported by a pair of two-story Ionic column. The roof has an extended eave with modillions, and a hip-roof dormer projects to the front, with an elaborate three-part window. The house was designed by Charles L. Thompson and built about 1907.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Nash House is a historic house at 601 Rock Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, with a side-gable roof and clapboard siding. A two-story gabled section projects on the right side of the main facade, and the left side has a two-story flat-roof porch, with large fluted Ionic columns supporting an entablature and dentillated and modillioned eave. Designed by Charles L. Thompson and built in 1907, it is a fine example of a modestly scaled Colonial Revival property. Another house that Thompson designed for Walter Nash stands nearby.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
