Nash House (601 Rock Street, Little Rock, Arkansas)

The Nash House is a historic house at 409 East 6th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, with a hip roof and weatherboard siding. The main facade is divided in two, the right half recessed to create a porch on the right side, supported by a pair of two-story Ionic column. The roof has an extended eave with modillions, and a hip-roof dormer projects to the front, with an elaborate three-part window. The house was designed by Charles L. Thompson and built about 1907.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Trapnall Hall is a historic house at 423 East Capitol Avenue in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1843 for lawyer Frederic Trapnall; one of Arkansas's finest examples of pre-Civil War Greek Revival architecture. It is a single-story brick building, with a hip roof and a projecting temple portico supported by square columns. The building is now owned by the state, which uses it as an venue for public and private events.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Cumberland Towers are a residential apartment highrise at 311 East 8th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1974, it is an eleven-story skyscraper, with a steel frame clad in stuccoed brick, housing 178 residential units. It was designed by Wittenberg, Delony & Davidson for the city as public senior housing, it exemplifies a design principle espoused by Le Corbusier known as the "tower in a park", with a large landscaped green area surrounding the building.The apartments were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The Albert Pike Residence Hotel is a historic commercial building at 701 South Scott Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. The hotel was built in 1929 by the Farrell Hotel Company at an approximate cost of $1,000,000. It was designed by architect Eugene John Stern in the Italian-Spanish Revival style. The two main wings are eight stories each, and extend out towards Scott Street. These two wings are connected across the back by a ten-story cross section. Decorated stone pediments extend above the roof line in the center of each wing. The cloister type porch graces the main entries which are flanked by triple arched leaded-glass windows. Above the entries are terra cotta medallions featuring heraldic shields with the initials "AP". The elaborate decor includes detailed stenciling, leaded and stained glass windows, extensive decorative tile, iron work, and ornate light fixtures. The coffered ceiling in the two story main lobby is overlooked by an open mezzanine floor that contains fine antique furnishings, including a custom made Hazelton Bros. grand piano, designed to match the building's interior structural features. The hotel is named after one of Arkansas' leading historical figures, Albert Pike, a teacher, attorney, newspaperman, Confederate Brigadier General, and later a judge of the Arkansas Supreme Court. Pike was also a prominent member of the Freemasons, and his writings were officially embraced by the Scottish Rite appendant branch of that fraternity throughout much of the U.S. The building was a hotel from its construction in 1928 (opening in 1929) until December 1971, when the Second Baptist Church assumed ownership and began its Albert Pike Residence Hotel ministry. The purpose was to provide a family retirement community that was happy and uplifting. In 1976 the hotel secured a Section 231 loan for $2,400,000 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This made possible the renovation of the hotel infrastructure bringing it up to current fire and safety standards. The Albert Pike Hotel was entered into the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior in 1978. A grant from the Historical Preservation Society helped to restore the public and community areas to their original condition. In late 1985, the hotel was purchased by a privately held corporation in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Since that time continuous upgrades, such as the addition of kitchen facilities, were made in efficiency, one, and two bedroom apartments. The apartments were created where two hotel rooms had connecting doors. Non connecting rooms are studio apartments with microwave-refrigerator combo units. The North Lounge was restored in 1994 and was made a smoke-free environment. It provides a common activities room, television lounge, post office boxes, and library. Regular events are held to inform residents of health and community services available in the area, as well as weekly bingo, monthly birthday parties, and special occasion and holiday parties.

Curran Hall, also known as the Walters-Curran-Bell House, is a historic house at 615 East Capitol Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was built in 1842 for Colonel Ebenezer Walters. The single story house is built in the Greek Revival style with Doric pilasters at the entrance way. Two auxiliary buildings, constructed at about the same time as the main building, were moved and attached to the rear of the house in 1891.The house is significant as one of the few remaining antebellum era landmarks in Little Rock. It served as the home of pre-Civil war Arkansas Supreme Court Justice George Watkins. Jacob Frolich purchased the home after the war, who would become a post-reconstruction Arkansas Secretary of State. Before that, however, Frolich, an opponent of the reconstruction Arkansas government and fearful of reprisals, fortified Curran Hall with trap doors and placed his livestock inside the house at night. Frolich was indicted for the murder of a reputed informant for the reconstruction government and fled to Canada, but later returned and was acquitted of the charge.In 1976, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It was acquired by the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission in 1996, renovated, and opened as an information center in 2002.

The Pike–Fletcher–Terry House, also known as just the Terry Mansion and now the Community Gallery at the Terry House, is a historic house at 8th and Rock Streets in central Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a large two-story Greek Revival building, whose grounds occupy the western end of a city block bounded by Rock, 8th, and 7th Streets. Its most prominent feature is its north-facing six-column Greek temple portico. The house was built in 1840 for Albert Pike, a leading figure in Arkansas' territorial and early state history. It has also been home to John Fletcher, a prominent Little Rock businessman and American Civil War veteran, and David D. Terry, Fletcher's son-in-law and also a prominent Arkansas politician. It was then home to prominent philanthropist and political activist Adolphine Fletcher Terry. She and her sister Mary Fletcher Drennan willed the family mansion to the city, for use by the nearby Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. It has been a municipal building since 1964. It served as the Arkansas Decorative Arts Center from 1985 to 2003.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.The Pike–Fletcher–Terry House is currently closed. There is ongoing litigation between the City of Little Rock, the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, and the Terry heirs.

The Tuf Nut Historic Commercial District encompasses two commercial/industrial buildings at 300–312 South Rock Street and 423 East 3rd Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. These brick buildings were built in 1922 and 1927 for the Tuf Nut Garment Manufacturing Company, and are representative of the industrial development of eastern downtown Little Rock during the period between 1922 and 1950. Both buildings are essentially vernacular, representing a trend of that period toward utilitarian forms for industrial architecture.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The George R. Mann Building, also known as the Adkins Building, is a historic commercial building at 115 East 5th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1906 to a design by local architect George R. Mann, it is an important local example of Beaux Arts architecture, and served as the site of Mann's office until 1912. It also served as an office for other notable Little Rock professionals such as Dr. Frank Visonhaler, Dr. E. R. Dibrell and Dr. M. E. McCaskilI. Despite the building's comparatively modest scale, it has a monumental-appearing facade, with two-story fluted columns set on paneled stone posts, with angled Ionic capitals supporting a heavily carved entablature. A line of dentil moulding separates that from a projecting modillioned cornice topped by a series of cartouches, with a recessed parapet behind.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The YMCA–Democrat Building is a historic commercial building at East Capitol and Scott Streets in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a three-story masonry structure, built out of brick with molded stone trim. Built in 1904, its restrained Renaissance Revival designs have been obscured to some extent by later alterations. It was designed by Sanders & Gibb, a prominent local architectural firm, and originally housed the local YMCA before later becoming home to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, one of the state's leading newspapers.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
