Brandon State School

The Sanderson Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge, which carries Pearl Street over Otter Creek in Brandon, Vermont. Built about 1840, it is one of Vermont's oldest covered bridges, and is the only remaining 19th century bridge in Brandon. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Rutland-7 District had a population of 3,917 in that same census, 3.5% below the state average.

Built in 1840, it was one of Vermont's oldest covered bridges at the time of its destruction in 1986 by an arsonist. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and was replaced by a modern steel and concrete bridge.

The Stagecoach Inn is a historic building at the corner of United States Route 7 and Fern Lake Road in the center of Leicester, Vermont. Built about 1830, it is one of the best-preserved examples of a 19th-century stagecoach accommodation between Rutland and Vergennes, with a distinctive combination of Federal and Greek Revival architectural elements. Now converted to a residence, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Leicester Meeting House is a historic church building at the junction of United States Route 7 and the Leicester-Whiting Road in the center of Leicester, Vermont. Built in 1829, it is a well-preserved example of vernacular Federal period church architecture executed in brick. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The School House and Town Hall is a historic municipal building on Schoolhouse Road, just west of United States Route 7 in the center of Leicester, Vermont. Built about 1858, it is a fine example of late Greek Revival architecture, and is the town's best-preserved district schoolhouse. Its upper floor has served as the town hall since its construction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Forest Dale is an unincorporated village in the town of Brandon, Rutland County, Vermont, United States. The community is located at the intersection of Vermont Route 53 and Vermont Route 73 15.5 miles (24.9 km) north of Rutland. Forest Dale has a post office with ZIP code 05733.Robert Forguites (1938–2019), Vermont politician and businessman, was born in Forest Dale.Frederick J. Bacon lived in Forest Dale between 1907 and 1914, operating his Bacon Manufacturing and Publishing Company, building banjos.

The Forest Dale Iron Furnace was a 19th-century iron smelting facility in Brandon, Vermont. Located off Vermont Route 73 east of the village of Forest Dale, it operated between 1810 and 1855, closing due to competition from higher quality and more efficient furnaces. Now reduced to archaeological ruins and the remains of its main furnace stack, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The site is marked by a historic marker on Vermont 73.

Satans Kingdom is an unincorporated community in the town of Leicester in Addison County, Vermont, United States. It is located along Vermont Route 53 near the southern shore of Lake Dunmore and just north of Fern Lake. Satans Kingdom was so named for their rocky soil which is unsuitable for farming. Satans Kingdom has been noted for its unusual place name.
