St Fagans National Museum of History (Welsh: Sain Ffagan: Amgueddfa Werin Cymru), commonly referred to as St Fagans after the village where it is located, is an open-air museum in Cardiff chronicling the historical lifestyle, culture, and architecture of the Welsh people. The museum is part of the wider network of Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales.It consists of more than forty re-erected buildings from various locations in Wales, and is set in the grounds of St Fagans Castle, a Grade I listed Elizabethan manor house. In 2011 Which? magazine named the museum the United Kingdom's favourite visitor attraction.A six-year, £30-million revamp was completed in 2018 and the museum was named the Art Fund Museum of the Year in 2019.

The Battle of St Fagans was a pitched battle during the Second English Civil War in 1648. A detachment from the New Model Army defeated an army of former Parliamentarian soldiers who had rebelled and were now fighting against Parliament.

Kennixton Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse originally built at Kennexstone, Llangennith, Gower, and currently located at St Fagans National History Museum, Cardiff, Wales. It is a Grade II listed building.The house was built around 1610, and extended over a period. Inside can be seen an example of a box-bed or "cupboard bed" and a sleeping platform over the fireplace, typical of houses in the Gower peninsula at this period. Its exterior walls are painted a bright red; the original pigment included ox blood and lime and may have been intended as a kind of charm against witches. Another theory is that it simply showed that the family were rich enough to be able to afford this type of pigment. The main living room or "kitchen" is an addition, dating from around 1680, as is the wooden staircase and sleeping area above it. The walls of the dining room (originally the only ground-floor room) are painted with a stencilled decoration of a type which pre-dates the general use of wallpaper. This room was used as the interior of Captain Blamey's cottage in the filming of the BBC's 2015 drama series, Poldark.The farmhouse was donated to the museum (then called the Welsh Folk Museum) in 1951 by its then owner, Mr J B Rogers. It was one of the first properties to be rebuilt at the museum, which opened in 1948, and finance for carrying out the work was provided by the profits from the 1951 Festival of Britain. The farm buildings (the barn and calves cotts) that originally stood by the house were not originally, but were added when they were donated to the museum in the early 2000s and relocated to St Fagans.

Esgair Moel is a woollen mill, originally built in the early 18th century and now reconstructed at St Fagans National Museum of History in Cardiff, Wales. It was the second historic building to be erected at the museum.The mill was built in around 1760, close to a farm of the same name near the small town of Llanwrtyd in Powys. After being enlarged during the 19th century, when the spinning jack, made by John Davies of Llanbrynmair in about 1830 and thought to be the only one of its age and kind still in use, was installed, along with carding engines purchased from a mill in Yorkshire. The mill eventually closed down in 1947 and was relocated and rebuilt at St Fagans in 1952.All the processes from dyeing of fleece to finishing of fabric, can be carried out within the building, which still produces woollen shawls and blankets for sale. The two handlooms, dating from the mid-18th century, were converted to be used with a flying shuttle. The water wheel is located on the ground floor and is fed by water pumped from a pool below, originally built in 1904 as a swimming pool for the Earl of Plymouth, who owned St Fagans at the time.

St Fagans railway station served the village of St Fagans in South Wales. The station was on what is now the South Wales Main Line.

Melin Bompren (English: "Woodenbridge Mill") is a water-powered corn mill, originally located at Cross Inn, Cardiganshire, Wales, but now at the St Fagans National History Museum, Cardiff. The mill was built in 1853 to grind corn into flour. It also has a kiln attached, which was used for drying oats when the mill was in its original location.The mill went out of use in 1957. In 1970 a decision was made to move it to St Fagans, where it opened to the public in 1977. The name of the mill originates in the Welsh language as "Woodenbridge mill", "Bompren" is a development on "Bont Pren" which means "Wooden Bridge". The mill is sometimes occupied by a skilled miller, who operates the grinding mill and explains its workings to visitors.

St Fagans Castle (Welsh: Castell Sain Ffagan) is an Elizabethan mansion in St Fagans, Cardiff, Wales, dating from the late 16th century. The house and remaining medieval fortifications are Grade I listed. The grounds of St Fagans Castle now contain St Fagans National Museum of History.

The Saint Mary's Church in St Fagans is a medieval church located in south Wales. Built in the 12th century it underwent extensive and sympathetic restoration in 1859, undertaken by G. E. Street in 1859. The Church of St Mary was listed as a Grade II* building on 28 January 1963.

Hendre'r Ywydd Uchaf is an early 16th-century cruck house, originally constructed near Llangynhafal, Denbighshire, and now located at St Fagans National History Museum in Cardiff, Wales. One of the interior wooden beams has been dated to the year 1508, using dendrochronology. The house has five bays, two of which would have been used for livestock, and an open hearth. It was designated a Grade II listed building on 10 June 1977.The walls of the house are timber-framed with oak stakes bound together by a wattle-and-daub construction. The roof is thatched with wheat straw. There is an earth floor and unglazed windows.The house was moved to St Fagans in 1956 and opened to the public in 1962, becoming the seventh building to be reconstructed on the site.

St Fagans Old Rectory is a Grade II* listed building in the village of St Fagans in western Cardiff. It is an important Victorian house designed by John Prichard and John Pollard Seddon, built in 1858–9 and used as a rectory until 1975. It is built from coursed squared lies with Bath stone dressings in two storeys and a French medieval-style attic. The steep roofs are made from Welsh slate. A lean-to veranda across the ground floor is supported by stone columns with capitals. The southern bay of the east elevation has a tall truncated pyramidal roof and on the eastern end is a gabled porch.

Denbigh Cockpit is a reconstructed building at St Fagans National Museum of History in Cardiff, the capital of Wales. The cockpit formerly stood in the yard of the Hawk and Buckle Inn at Vale Street, Denbigh, and is thought to date from the late seventeenth century. It is a Grade II listed building. Cockfighting became illegal in Britain in 1849, and the cockpit was used for other purposes over the years, such as a garage. In 1911 it was visited by members of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments and Constructions in Wales and Monmouthshire, and was found to be "preserved with much care". It was in a poor state of repair by 1965, when a decision was made to move it to St Fagans. The cockpit was opened to the public at St Fagans in 1970.
