Burnside Bridgehead

Yard is a 21-story, 206-foot (63 m)-tall apartment building built at the Burnside Bridgehead in Portland, Oregon's Kerns neighborhood, in the United States. It was designed by Skylab Architecture for Key Development Co. of Hood River and Guardian Real Estate Services of Portland.

The Burnside Skatepark is a DIY concrete skatepark located in Portland, Oregon, United States. Burnside was the FIRST do-it-yourself concrete skatepark project and has spawned other similar projects across the globe. It is located under the east end of the Burnside Bridge. The project was started without permission from the city of Portland before being accepted as a public skatepark. Its features include many hips, pools, pyramids, and vertical sections. The skatepark is free-admission and requires no helmet, protective knee-pads, or elbow-pads. The skatepark receives no funding from the city of Portland. The park is regarded as an on-going project that is funded by donations.

The Ira F. Powers Warehouse and Factory is a historic industrial building in Portland, Oregon, United States. Built in 1925, it is one of the last remnants of two important phases in Portland's economic history: the city's once-prominent furniture manufacturing and distribution industry, and worker housing for the war industries of the World War II era.The warehouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Frigidaire Building or Templeton Building is a building in southeast Portland, Oregon listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was designed by William C. Knighton and Leslie D. Howell and completed in 1929 for O.E. (Oscar) Heintz and occupied by Frigidaire until 1934. When prohibition was repealed in 1933, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission was created through Oregon's Knox Bill. OLCC occupied the building once Frigidare left. Later it was occupied by R.J. Templeton, an auto parts distributor.The building was purchased by Artiste Lofts LLC in 2004 for $800,000. It had been previously owned by Joanne Ferrero. Later, the building contained Disjecta. As of 2020 the building contains OMFGCO, a creative agency who placed a very visible quote on the building stating "Long live the wildcards, misfits & dabblers".

The Blake McFall Company Building, also known as the Emmett Building, in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon, is a five-story commercial warehouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by McNaughton & Raymond of Portland and built in 1915, it was added to the register in 1990. The 100-by-200-foot (30 by 61 m) structure is representative of a group of timber-framed loft warehouses built in the early 20th century on the east side of the Willamette River.

The Fair-Haired Dumbbell is a building located at 11 Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in Portland, Oregon's Burnside Bridgehead project in the Kerns neighborhood, United States. Its exterior design was created by Los Angeles artist James Jean, and was selected by the Regional Arts & Culture Council, the city, and Guerrilla Development. Dan Cohen painted the artwork in June 2017.

5 MLK is a 200 feet (61 m) 17-story mixed-use apartment and office building in Portland, Oregon's Burnside Bridgehead area completed in 2020. It was designed by GREC Architects and built for Gerding Edlen.

The Vivian Apartments, originally known as the Alco Apartments, are a historic, commercial/apartment building located in Portland, Oregon, United States. Built in 1912 at the northern end of Portland's eastside commercial core, the building typifies the mixed-use commercial development that occurred along Portland's streetcar lines in the eastside area during the early 20th century. It was noted for quality design and construction when it was built, and retains significant character-defining characteristics, including transom windows and recessed entries in the commercial spaces, original fenestration on the rear elevation, a prominent apartment entrance and lobby, and decorative cornice and masonry. The building's significance is strongly echoed in the 21st-century renaissance of mixed-use construction and streetcars in Portland, with a new-generation streetcar line on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard immediately opposite the west elevation.The Alco Apartments were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The KEX Hotel is a hotel at the intersection of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Couch Street in Portland, Oregon, United States. Kex is based in Reykjavík, and the Portland location is the brand's first hotel outside Iceland. The hotel is unconnected in any way to Portland radio station KEX (1190).

Stark's Vacuum Museum, also known as Stark's Vacuum Cleaner Museum, is a vacuum cleaner museum in Portland, Oregon. It showcases more than 100 vacuums from the late-1800s to the 1960s within a 10 feet (3.0 m) x 40-foot (12 m) section of the Stark's Vacuums store. Admission is free. Pieces include a 1930s cardboard model, a Duntley Pneumatic that attaches to the ceiling, an Electrolux on runners, and hand-pumped vacs.
