The Bennigsen Beavers are a German baseball and softball team in the Springer Ortsteil Bennigsen, southwest of Hannover. The club has at points in the past participated in the first division of the Baseball Bundesliga The first men's team currently plays in the Verbandsliga, the 4th tier of baseball in Germany.

The Calenberg Land (German: Calenberger Land) is a historic landscape southwest of Hanover in Germany, roughly formed by the countryside between the Leine and the Deister hills. The Gehrdener Berg is a forested ridge in the Calenberg Land in Hanover Region in the north German state of Lower Saxony. On its slopes nestles the town of Gehrden that gives the ridge its name. The ridge is about 2.7 kilometres long and is the sister hill range of the Benther Berg in southwest Hanover. Its highest point is the Burgberg at 155 metres above sea level (NN).

Ricklingen is a borough and a quarter of Hanover, in Lower Saxony, and in Germany. The borough Ricklingen consists of the quarters Bornum, Mühlenberg, Oberricklingen, Ricklingen and Wettbergen. It lies between Coppenbrügge, Eldagsen and Elze in the North German state of Lower Saxony.
