The Benther Berg is a ridge, up to 173.3 m above sea level (NN), in the Calenberg Land near Benthe in Hanover Region in the German state of Lower Saxony.

Ricklingen is a borough and a quarter of Hanover, in Lower Saxony, and in Germany. The borough Ricklingen consists of the quarters Bornum, Mühlenberg, Oberricklingen, Ricklingen and Wettbergen. Hanomag (Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG, German pronunciation: [ˈhano:mɐx]) was a German producer of steam locomotives, tractors, trucks and military vehicles in Hanover. Hanomag first achieved international fame by delivering numerous steam locomotives to Finland, Romania and Bulgaria before World War I and making of first tractor Hanomag R26 in 1924 in Germany. In 1925, they added automobiles to their line, additionally moving in 1931 into the production of construction machinery. Since 1989, the company has been part of the Komatsu company.

The Gehrdener Berg is a forested ridge in the Calenberg Land in Hanover Region in the north German state of Lower Saxony. On its slopes nestles the town of Gehrden that gives the ridge its name. The ridge is about 2.7 kilometres long and is the sister hill range of the Benther Berg in southwest Hanover. Its highest point is the Burgberg at 155 metres above sea level (NN).

Linden-Limmer ([lɪndən lɪmɪ] listen ) is the tenth borough (Stadtbezirk) of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony. It became part of the city in 1920. Linden-Limmer is where Hannah Arendt was born. It has 44,941 inhabitants (2020) and consists of the quarters (Stadtteile) of Linden-Mitte (12,192 residents), Linden-Nord (16,433 residents), Linden-Süd (10,068 inhabitants) and Limmer (6,248 inhabitants).

Hemmingen (German pronunciation: [ˈhɛmɪŋən] (listen)) is a town in the district of Hanover, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 6 km south of Hanover. Until December 2004, Hemmingen belonged to the Regierungsbezirk Hannover, which was dissolved in January 2005.
