Healing School, A Science Academy is a co-educational secondary school and specialist academy located on Low Road in the village of Healing, North East Lincolnshire, England.The school has a maximum capacity of 900 students. However according to the recent Ofsted report it has a student enrolment of 914 (as of 2019) Healing School serves the area of Healing and Stallingborough but the school has an intake from the Willows, Great Coates, Wybers Wood, Immingham, North Killingholme and other parts of Grimsby.

Healing is a village and civil parish in North East Lincolnshire, England. It is situated between Stallingborough and Great Coates, and 3 miles (5 km) west from Grimsby. The village dates from at least the early medieval period, but later contracted to a few habitations. Healing railway station opened on 1 April 1881, and in the late 1800s/early 1900s the village expanded. The parish was once known as the site of a healing spring. Outside the village there are no significant habitations in the parish. A large textile fibre plant was constructed by Courtaulds near the Humber bank in the late 1950s, and near the boundary with Great Coates a large industrial estate, Europarc, was established in the 1990s.

Stallingborough railway station serves the village of Stallingborough in North East Lincolnshire, England. It was built by the Great Grimsby and Sheffield Junction Railway in 1848. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by East Midlands Railway. The manually operated level crossing gates seen in the photo and the wooden Great Central Railway signal box that operated them have both since been replaced by a modern brick structure and lifting barriers respectively - the new signal box is on northside of the line, and is one of a few little boxes to be built in recent years. The station building is a private house now, but there are shelters on both platforms.

Stallingborough is a village and civil parish in North East Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 1,234.

South Humber Bank Power Station is a 1,365 MW gas-fired power station on South Marsh Road at Stallingborough in North East Lincolnshire north of Healing and the A180 near the South Marsh Road Industrial Estate. It is around two miles east of Immingham, and employs 64 people. The site of SHBPS is around 500 metres by 400 metres in area (around 54 acres). It is next door to the Synthomer plant. It is owned by EP UK Investments Ltd, which is daughter company of EP Power Europe, which is 100% owned by Czech energy group EPH (owned by Daniel Křetínský). EPH bought South Humber Bank power station from Centrica in June 2017.

The Newlincs EfW facility is an incinerator which is located in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, England. The plant is operated by Cyclerval UK & TIRU Group under a PFI contract. The engineering of the facility is unusual as it consists of an oscillating kiln handling 56,000 tonnes of waste per year/7 tonnes per hour of waste. The facility is capable of generating 3.2 MW electricity.
