Pingree Grove ( PING-GREE) is a village in Kane County, Illinois, United States. The population was 124 at the 2000 census. However, with rapid development in the following years, the 2010 census indicated 4,532 residents, and the 2020 census was 10,365.

Allen's Corners is an unincorporated community in Kane County, Illinois, United States. Allen's Corner is a landmark of the Allen family, the first settlers of Kane County in 1836. First known as blacksmiths and farmers, the towing business was started in 1937. The community is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 20 and Allen and Brier Hill roads.

The Robert and Elizabeth Muirhead House is a historic house located at 42W814 Rohrson Road northeast of Plato Center, Illinois. Built in 1951–53, the house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in his Usonian style. Robert and Elizabeth Muirhead, the home's owners, had met Wright in 1948 while touring Taliesin, and the meeting inspired them to commission Wright to design their own home. The one-story house is horizontally oriented to match its flat surroundings, in keeping with Wright's design principles. Rows of casement windows and a wooden parapet along the roof add to the house's horizontal emphasis. The house's interior also includes several typical elements of Wright's work, including a deemphasized front entrance, floor-to-ceiling windows used to bring in additional light, and a sense of contrast and connection between rooms.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 12, 2016.

Hampshire High School serves students from Hampshire and surrounding areas, including Gilberts, Pingree Grove, Carpentersville, Elgin, and Sleepy Hollow. The school is located at the northern edge of Hampshire. Hampshire High School is part of Community Unit School District 300, or D300, and is the newest of three high schools serving the district. Feeder schools to Hampshire include Hampshire Middle School and Dundee Middle School. The school is a member of the Illinois High School Association, Fox Valley Conference. The school colors are purple and white and the mascot is a Whippur, which is typically depicted as a panther or a puma.

Memorial Washington Reformed Presbyterian Church is a historic church in Elgin, Illinois. It was built in 1844, but has not had regular service since 1906. Due to the infrequency of services, the church earned the moniker The Once-A-Year Church. The simple, vernacular Greek Revivalchurch building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
