Alexandersville, Ohio was a town located in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States just north of West Carrollton and south of Moraine. It was incorporated into West Carrollton in 1943.Alexandersville was platted in 1815. A post office called Alexandersville was established in 1828, and remained in operation until 1907.

West Carrollton High School is a public high school in West Carrollton, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the West Carrollton City School District. Athletic teams are known as the "Pirates" and the school colors are scarlet and black. As of the 2013–14 school year, the school has an enrollment of approximately 900 students.West Carrollton has been rated as "Effective" since 2002 by the Ohio Department of Education. The school met nine of the 12 state indicators for the 2005–2006 school year.

Moraine Airpark (FAA LID: I73) is a public-use airport situated in the city of Moraine, Ohio, United States. 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of the city of Dayton in Montgomery County. The Airpark originally was called South Dayton Airport which was originally located on Stroop Rd and Lamme Rd in from 1941-1954. It's moved to its current location in 1955 and has been open to the public for the last 68 years (2023). They have everything from a Fairchild to a Christian Eagle based here.Careflight has a hanger for maintenance based there as well. It is also home to a chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association, which it self holds Young Eagles Days where young pilots are taken for free airplane rides.The airport holds an annual fly-in. It also holds a hangar party as part of festivities for each year's inductions to the nearby National Aviation Hall of Fame.

Dayton Outpatient Center Stadium (DOC Stadium) is a 3,500 seat artificial turf stadium located in West Carrollton, Ohio, on the campus of West Carrollton High School. The Dayton Dutch Lions partnered with West Carrollton City Schools and Dr. Suresh Gupta of the Dayton Outpatient Center to install a new playing surface in the West Carrollton High School Stadium as part of a 30-year deal. The original stadium was renamed to the Dayton Outpatient Center Stadium in recognition of the significant investment made by Dayton Outpatient Center. Renovations started on March 10, 2014, and were completed with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 9, 2014. The Motz Group, a Cincinnati-based company that specializes in building playing fields, replaced the existing grass field with artificial turf at a cost of $450,000 to $475,000. The combined costs for the renovations to the stadium and installation of lights on practice fields are estimated at $529,000.DOC Stadium was officially opened on May 10, 2014, with a United Soccer League soccer game that saw the Dayton Dutch Lions tie the LA Galaxy II, 1–1 with a record attendance of 1,527.

West Carrollton is a city in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. A suburb of Dayton, its population was 13,129 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Great Miami River runs through the town and forms most of its northern border.

Moraine Assembly was a General Motors automobile factory in Moraine, Ohio, United States, a suburb of Dayton. A Frigidaire appliance plant had originally operated on the site from 1951 to 1979. Starting in 1981, the Chevrolet S-10 small pickup was produced. This same model was produced by Shreveport Assembly. In 1987 through 1994 the plant produced the rolling chassis for the Grumman LLV Postal Vehicle. From 2001 through 2008, the plant produced the GMT360 SUVs. The plant was closed in December 2008. In 2014, the facilities were acquired by Fuyao Glass to produce glass for vehicles.

The Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark is a 189 acres (76 ha) arboretum and park located at 6733 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio (in Miami Township, south of the city proper). It is open daily without charge. Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark is one of many Dayton area parks within the Five Rivers Metroparks system. The arboretum was established in 1962 when James M. Cox Jr., and family donated their property to a nonprofit foundation, which continues to help fund the arboretum. In 1972 the land was given to Five Rivers Metroparks in a public/private partnership. The arboretum contains a shrub garden with over 500 varieties of trees and shrubs, butterfly house and garden, children's maze, conifer knoll, crab apple allee, herb garden, ornamental grass collection, perennial garden, rock garden, water garden, woodland wildflower garden, and 2.5 miles (4.0 km) of walking trails.

SunWatch Indian Village / Archaeological Park, previously known as the Incinerator Site, and designated by the Smithsonian trinomial 33-MY-57, is a reconstructed Fort Ancient Native American village next to the Great Miami River. The dwellings and site plan of the 3-acre (1.2 ha) site are based on lengthy archeological excavations sponsored by the Dayton Society of Natural History, which owns and operates the site as an open-air museum. Because of its archaeological value, the site was listed in 1974 on the National Register of Historic Places. Since that time, as the many years of archaeological research at the site have led to important findings about the Fort Ancient culture, SunWatch Indian Village was designated in 1990 as a National Historic Landmark.

Moraine Country Club is a country club located in Kettering, Ohio, in the Dayton Metropolitan Area. The development of the Moraine Country Club started at a meeting in 1927, when Colonel Deeds, Charles Kettering, Frederick Rike, Governor James Cox, Robert Patterson, John Haswell & William Keyes decided to turn a portion of "Moraine Farm" into a golf course. Alec Campbell designed the course and in 1930 the club was incorporated. The golf course there hosted the PGA Championship in 1945 which Byron Nelson won.

The Ohio Institute of Photography (OIP) was founded in 1971. In 1977, construction began on the main building. Classes began in the new building, designed specifically for photographic education, the following September. The building was expanded again in 1984. The school was renamed the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology (OIP&T) in 1991 with the addition of an allied health program. Several other medical, criminal justice, and graphic design related programs were added to the curriculum over the next several years. With the addition of these programs, the school added classroom space in the nearby Point West Business Park. A branch campus called Florida Education Center-Lauderhill was opened in January 2005. OIP&T was acquired by Kaplan Higher Education and renamed Kaplan College, Dayton campus in 2010.The school is currently owned by Education Corporation of America and changed its name to Brightwood College in October 2015.
