Vilhelmsborg

Constantinsborg is a manor in Aarhus Municipality, Denmark which has existed since at least 1400. It is situated on the southern shore of Årslev Engsø, a newly created nature reserve and shallow lake extension of Brabrand Lake, in Viby J 10 km. south-west of Aarhus. The manor and estate are privately owned today and ran as a farm. Constantinsborg was originally known as Stadsgaard but was later renamed after Constantin Marselis who owned the estate in the 1600s. In the 1800s the Pontoppidan family owned the estate and came to have a large impact on Danish agriculture and the transformation of the Jutland moors into agricultural land. The current main manor building was constructed in the early 1800s while adjoining farm buildings date back to 1870 and the 20th century.

Aarhus Educational Centre for Agriculture (Danish: Jordbrugets UddannelsesCenter Århus) is a school of secondary education in Aarhus, Denmark. The school functions as an economically independent institution subordinated to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education and offers vocational training in farming, gardening, forestry, zoo keeping, floristry and agricultural management.The school is spread out over 4 locations in Beder, Malling, Vejlby and Bredballegård. Beder is home to the gardening, floristry and forestry and nature technician programmes. Bredballegård is home to the zoo keeping, farming and agricultural vehicle licensing programmes. Vejlby is home to the agricultural management programme and Malling is home to the horse training and riding programmes.

Mårslet is a railway town in Denmark, located about 11 km (6.8 mi) south of Aarhus. It has a population of 5,162 (1 January 2023). Mårslet is located in Aarhus Municipality and therefore is part of the Central Denmark Region. Mårslet is situated on the historical Odderbanen, the railway line between Odder and Aarhus, and the resulting short journey time to these urban centres has been an important factor in the town's development since the opening of the line in 1884. Mårslet has seen especially rapid housing development and population growth in recent years.

Malling is a village in Denmark, located about 12 km (7.5 mi) south of Aarhus. It has a population of 6,194 (Jan 1, 2020).

Beder is a town with a population of 4,372 (9 January 2012) in Jutland in Denmark. Some consider Beder & the neighbouring town of Malling as one urban area. DST has since 2012 considered the towns one urban area making it the 84th largest in Denmark with a total population of 8,898 in 2020.The town shares a sporting complex with neighbouring town Malling called Egelund, where the team BMI (Beder Malling Idrætsforening) plays their football, handball, basketball, etc., matches. Beder-Malling is located in the southernmost part of Århus Municipality bordering the Kattegat. The area is divided into 2 parishes (postal codes 8330 and 8340) and comprises 7x7 square kilometres with approximately 9000 inhabitants. Both Beder and Malling supports a small train station and in the vicinity of the 2 main towns there are 9 smaller villages. Beder is the 3rd most densely populated area within the municipality (1. Aarhus, 2. Lystrup, 3. Beder). Beder is home to a division of Aarhus Educational Centre for Agriculture, offering gardening, floristry, forestry and nature technician programmes.

Skåde is a neighbourhood of Højbjerg, a southern district of Aarhus in Denmark. It is located 6 km south from the city centre. Skåde is the highest lying area in Aarhus municipality, with hills like Jelshøj (128 metres) and Søsterhøj (112 metres).

Ring 2, or Ringvejen, is the outermost ring road surrounding the city of Aarhus in Denmark.

Lyseng Church (Danish: Lyseng Kirke) is a church in Aarhus, Denmark. The church is situated in the Højbjerg neighborhood in on Bushøjvej by Ring 2 in the southern suburbs of Aarhus. Lyseng Church is a part of the Church of Denmark, the Danish state church, and is a shared secondary church to Holme Parish and Skåde Parish, officially under Holme pastorate along with Holme Church.Lyseng Church is an expansion of the former Eastern Chapel (Danish: Østre Kapel) which had sat unused on the site for 40 years. Holme and Skåde Parish are two of the largest parishes in the Diocese of Aarhus, each with some 11.000 parish members, and the diocese planned to split the parishes. The parish councils objected to the plan and instead suggested the creation of a third church in order to lessen the burden on the existing churches. The decision was made in 2007 in a joint agreement between the two parishes and the diocese and the restoration was completed in 2010 with the first sermon being held in February of that year.The original chapel was constructed in 1913 in Romanesque style, with a base of natural stone and a superstructure of brick. The chapel was built between the villages of Holme and Skåde to serve a joint cemetery. In 1951 the chapel was made redundant when Holme Church got its own cemetery and services at the chapel was reduced until it was eventually closed down entirely.

Moesgård is a former manor house and a listed building in Aarhus Municipality. The current buildings were completed in 1778 and was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 17 July 1918.The manor and estate is situated in the district of Højbjerg, 10 kilometers south of the city centre of Aarhus. Administratively it belongs to the Mårslet Parish and is today owned by Moesgård Museum. The museum cooperates with the School of Culture and Society from Aarhus University on the subjects of history, archaeology, anthropology and oriental studies with most teaching and lectures being held in the manor buildings. In 2013 the university took over the buildings when a new museum building was completed and most activities related to the museum moved there.

Telecommunication Tower Aarhus (Danish Søsterhøj Antennen, Søsterhøj Senderen or simply Søsterhøj), is a radio and television transmission tower in Aarhus, Denmark. It is the main transmission antenna in all of Aarhus. The tower is situated on the top of the hill of Søsterhøj (112 metres above sea level) in the neighbourhood of Skåde, in the district of Højbjerg. The construction of Telecommunication Tower Aarhus began in 1956, and it was finished later that same year. The tower and mast reach 216 m tall, with the tower itself at 65 metres. Telecommunication Tower Aarhus has been noted worldwide for its relatively unusual use of concrete as a construction material for the tower supporting the long wired mast.

Moesgaard Museum (MOMU) is a Danish regional museum dedicated to archaeology and ethnography. It is located in Beder, a suburb of Aarhus, Denmark.MOMU cooperates with the Institute of Prehistoric Archaeology, Medieval and Renaissance Archaeology and Anthropology at Aarhus University. The main part of the museum's archaeological collection is of Danish origin. In addition, the Ethnographical Collections contain almost 50,000 artifacts from all over the world. They are used both for research and exhibitions. The collection also contains photographic material, films and sound recordings. The museum's exhibitions presents several unrivaled archaeological findings from Denmark's ancient past, among others the Grauballe Man, the world's best preserved bog body and the large ritual weapon caches from Illerup Ådal, testifying the power struggles and warfare of the Iron Age. The collection also contains seven local rune stones. Temporary exhibitions at the museum also display examples of the world's cultural heritage.
