Ooidonk Castle (Dutch: Kasteel Ooidonk) is a castle in the city of Deinze, East Flanders, Belgium. The castle is the residence of the current Count t'Kint de Roodenbeke. Ooidonk Castle is situated at an altitude of 11 meters.

The municipality comprises the towns of Hansbeke, Landegem, Merendree, Nevele proper, Poesele and Vosselare. In 2018, the municipality of Nevele had a total population of 12,179. The total area is 51.89 km².Effective 1 January 2019, the municipality was merged into Deinze.

Deinze (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdɛi̯nzə] ) is a city and a municipality in the Belgian province of East Flanders. It comprises the city of Deinze, and the towns of Astene, Bachte-Maria-Leerne, Gottem, Grammene, Hansbeke, Landegem, Meigem, Merendree, Nevele, Petegem-aan-de-Leie, Poesele, Sint-Martens-Leerne, Vinkt, Vosselare, Wontergem, and Zeveren. On 1 January 2022, Deinze had a population of 44,315. The municipality's total area is 128.03 km2 (49 sq mi), giving a population density of 342 inhabitants per km². On 1 January 2019, the municipality of Nevele was merged into Deinze.

Luchteren is a village in East Flanders, Belgium, within the municipality of Ghent. Luchteren is the most rural parish of Drongen district, located on the main N461 road. Most shops and other important features are located in the main streets Beekstraat, Antoon Catriestraat, Boskeetstraat and Gavergrachtstraat, the last one holding the small parish church, the only school and the only bar of the village. Halewijn is a distinct neighbourhood within Luchteren. Afsnee is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders. It is part of the urban area of the province's capital city Ghent. It is situated at the banks of the river Lys. Maurice and Anna De Weert bought a farm at Afsnee in 1895 beside the Lys which had belonged to a Dominican Monastery. Anna would paint there.
