Oregon Agricultural Experiment Station (OAES) is affiliated with Oregon State University and coordinates research at experiment stations in Oregon. It receives state funding and funding from contracts for its work. It has 11 branch stations. It was established in 1887 after passage of the Hatch Act of 1887 and began at Oregon Agricultural College in 1888. It publishes a station bulletin. It also produced films and public service announcements. Rural homemaking practices were studied when female researchers were added to the organization. Publication topics have included studies on soils, pests, and crops.Edgar Grimm was the first director.The first branch station opened in Union, Oregon in 1901. The historic Red Barn was built in 1914 at the experiment station in Union, Oregon.Deinococcus radiodurans was discovered at the experiment station in Corvallis.

Oregon State University's College of Engineering is the engineering college of Oregon State University, a public research university in Corvallis, Oregon. U.S. News & World Report ranks OSU's engineering college 69th in the nation for 2024. The ranking makes the college one of the top two in the Northwest, while the college's nuclear engineering school ranks 12th nationally.In 2022 student enrollment at the college reached over 9,800, with just over 8,500 of those undergraduates. The college is now the largest on campus and the seventh largest engineering college in the nation (2023).

The Memorial Union (MU) is the student activity center at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. It contains a ballroom, cafeteria, bowling alley, shops, and study areas. It was designed by Oregon Agricultural College (a predecessor of OSU) graduate Lee Arden Thomas.

The Valley Library is the primary library of Oregon State University and is located at the school's main campus in Corvallis in the U.S. state of Oregon. Established in 1887, the library was placed in its own building for the first time in 1918, what is now Kidder Hall. The current building opened in 1963 as the William Jasper Kerr Library and was expanded and renamed in 1999 as The Valley Library. The library is named for philanthropist F. Wayne Valley, who played football for Oregon State. One of three libraries for Oregon State, The Valley Library stores more than 1.4 million volumes, 14,000 serials, and more than 500,000 maps and government documents. It is designated as a Federal Depository Library and is also a repository for state documents. The six-story library building is of a contemporary, neoclassical style with a red-brick exterior highlighted by white sections along the top and on part of the eastern side. The eastern side includes a white-faced rotunda that features a two-story atrium on the main floor.

The Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives (OHBA), established in 2013, is a community archive in the U.S. dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing materials about the story of Northwest hops and brewing.

Owen Hall is a building containing primarily instructional space, located at 1501 Southwest Campus Way on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. Originally called the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Building, it was renamed on October 24, 2009 to honor John Owen, the sixth dean of the university's College of Engineering (1990–97) and former head of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (1978-89), who died at age 62 on February 15, 1997. It was during Owen's tenure as dean that the college raised the funds to pay for the building's construction. Currently the building is utilized primarily by the College of Liberal Arts.

Community Hall (formerly the Administration Building, then Benton Hall) was the first building constructed on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon and the oldest structure on its campus today. Its original name was simply the "Administration Building" while the university itself was using the name under which it was first organized: Oregon State Agricultural College. It is situated on a gentle slope called "College Hill," just west of the city's commercial center on the west bank of the Willamette River, there anchoring what remains of the school's original buildings on the "Lower Campus" (given with current names and years built): Apperson Hall (1899), Benton Annex (1892), Education Hall (1902) and Gladys Valley Gymnastics Center (1898).

Waldo Hall is a building on the Oregon State University (OSU) campus in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. The building's fourth floor, inaccessible to the public, is one of several reportedly haunted sites on campus. Waldo Hall was named in 1907 for Clara H. Waldo, the wife of pioneer and Oregon supreme court judge John B. Waldo. She served on OSU's board of regents and was the first woman in the U.S. to serve on the board of a state college. She was also the first woman to address an OSU graduation class.
