The Piedmont Triad (or simply the Triad) is a metropolitan region in the north-central part of the U.S. state of North Carolina anchored by three cities: Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. This close group of cities lies in the Piedmont geographical region of the United States and forms the basis of the Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point, NC Combined Statistical Area. As of 2012, the Piedmont Triad has an estimated population of 1,611,243 making it the 33rd largest combined statistical area in the United States.The metropolitan area is connected by Interstates 40, 85, 73, and 74 and is served by the Piedmont Triad International Airport. Long known as one of the primary manufacturing and transportation hubs of the southeastern United States, the Triad is also an important educational, healthcare, and cultural region and occupies a prominent place in the history of the American Civil Rights Movement.

High Point station is an intermodal transit station in High Point, North Carolina, United States. Its main building serves as an Amtrak train station, while the Broad Avenue Terminal serves as the bus terminus for both High Point Transit System (HPTS) and the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART). The station is located in downtown High Point and near the West High Street Historic District.

Guilford County Office and Court Building is a historic office and municipal and North Carolina Superior Court courthouse building located at Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1937, and is a two-story, three part, Art Moderne style brick building. It has a stylized entrance with three unornamented pilasters without capitals, which extend above the roofline.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Market Square is a furniture showroom complex in High Point, North Carolina, owned by International Market Centers which is the largest building in North Carolina on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and the sixth largest in the United States. Known also as Tomlinson Chair Manufacturing Company Complex, it was listed on the NRHP under that name. The former manufacturing complex includes the oldest factory building in the city, and its renovation has been credited with making High Point a successful furniture exhibition center. A 16-story addition in 1990 is one of the city's tallest buildings.

The Enterprise Building is a historic commercial building located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1935, and is a three-story, five bay, brick building with a full cast stone Art Deco-style façade. It was originally built as a two-story building and enlarged to three stories in 1945.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

It is based in High Point, North Carolina. The International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) is a division of the AHFA, as well as the Specialized Furniture Carriers.

West High Street Historic District is a national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 10 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site. The resources were built between 1879 and 1922 and include six houses, three outbuildings, the Kirkman House garden, and the Kirkman Manufacturing Company (1899). Located in the district are the separately listed Blair School and O. Arthur Kirkman House and Outbuildings. Other buildings are the Queen Anne style Annettie Brown House (1897); the Colonial Revival style Fraser-Wilson House (1905) and W. T. Kirkman House (1900); and the brick Colonial Revival / American Craftsman-style O. Arthur Kirkman House (1915).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

O. Arthur Kirkman House and Outbuildings is a historic urban estate located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. Its main house, built in 1913, is a two-story brick dwelling with design elements from the Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman. It has a steep pitched gable roof, wide eaves with decorative brackets, and stained glass windows. In addition, the property displays a contributing detached, single car garage (1913), a brick dog house (1913), a depot (1916-1917), an office (pre-1913), and the former Blair School (c. 1911).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Washington Street Historic District is a national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 36 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in a predominantly African-American section of High Point. They date from the early- to mid-20th century and include a mix of commercial and residential buildings in a variety of popular architectural styles including Art Moderne, Classical Revival architecture, Colonial Revival architecture, Gothic Revival architecture, and Bungalow / American Craftsman architecture. Located in the district and listed separately are the Kilby Hotel, First Baptist Church, and William Penn High School. Other notable buildings include the Odd Fellows Hall, Morgan Apartments, Hoover's Funeral Home, the Toussaint L’Ouverture Lodge No. 524, Yarborough Law Building and the Washington Street Branch of the High Point Public Library.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Truist Point is a baseball stadium located in High Point, North Carolina and is home to the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The ballpark is bordered by Elm, English, Gatewood and Lindsay streets. Truist (formerly BB&T Corporation) is paying $500,000 annually for 15 years for the naming rights.The stadium hosted its first official event on May 2, 2019, as the High Point Rockers defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters in their first ever Opening Day game.The ballpark was renamed from BB&T Point to Truist Point in June 2020 due to the 2019 merger of BB&T and SunTrust Banks to form Truist.The ballpark has also been home to collegiate summer baseball teams in the Old North State League (ONSL): the Deep River Muddogs in 2020 and the High Point Hushpuppies in 2021.In 2021, North Carolina Fusion U23's men's and women's teams began playing some games at Truist Point.

Oakwood Historic District is a national historic district located in High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 28 contributing buildings in a residential section of High Point developed between 1902 and 1927. They include notable examples of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
