All Saints’ Church, Northallerton is a Grade I listed parish church in the Church of England in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

The Vale of Mowbray is a plain in North Yorkshire, England. It is bounded by the Tees lowlands to the north, the North York Moors and the Hambleton Hills to the east, the Vale of York to the south, and the Yorkshire Dales to the west. Northallerton, Catterick Garrison, and Thirsk are the largest settlements within the area. The Vale of Mowbray is distinguishable from the Vale of York by its meandering rivers and more undulating landscape. The vale is the floodplain of the River Swale and its tributaries, including the Wiske and Cod Beck. The river enters the vale from Swaledale, in the north-west, then flows in a south-easterly direction before entering the Vale of York. The underlying geology of the landscape is sandstone and mudstone, with clays and silts in the south-west. The region is agricultural, with a mix of arable and grassland, though isolated pockets of woodland remain. The fields are medium-sized and typically bounded by hawthorn hedges. The villages are often linear, following the major through road, and the houses are generally brick built with pantile roofs. The vale is a major north-south transport corridor, containing the A1 road and the East Coast Main Line, which are respectively the main road and rail links between London and Edinburgh.

The North Northallerton bridge is a road bridge straddling the Northallerton–Eaglescliffe railway line in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England. The bridge is on a link road connecting the A167 in the west, and the A684 in the east and in part, is intended to provide relief for the congestion caused in Northallerton due to the many level crossings which hold up road traffic. The link road runs through a set of new housing estates between Northallerton and Brompton, and has been beset by delays, originally intended for opening in late 2021, it was opened on 16 December 2022.

Northallerton Town Hall is a municipal building in the High Street, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England. The structure, which is the meeting place of Northallerton Town Council, is a grade II listed building.

Northallerton Castle was a defensive structure in Northallerton in North Yorkshire, England. The structure is thought to have been constructed c. 1068 and was largely made out of timber with a palisade wall. It was destroyed by order of King Henry in 1178. The ground outlines of the site were removed by railway building in the first half of the 19th century.

Friarage Hospital is a 189-bed hospital located in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England. The hospital covers a large section of rural North Yorkshire and the Vale of York which amounts to over 120,000 people in 390 square miles (1,000 km2). The hospital is run by the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is one of six hospitals in the trust's portfolio. In April 2020, the Accident and Emergency section of the hospital was downgraded into an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), with the most serious of casualty cases being taken to other hospitals.

The Wensleydale Railway is a heritage railway in Wensleydale and Lower Swaledale in North Yorkshire, England. It was built in stages by different railway companies and originally extended to Garsdale railway station on the Settle-Carlisle line. Since 2003, the remaining line has been run as a heritage railway. The line runs 22 miles (35 km) between Northallerton West station, about a fifteen-minute walk from Northallerton station on the East Coast Main Line, and Redmire. Regular passenger services operate between Leeming Bar and Redmire, with a shuttle to Scruton, occasional freight services and excursions travel the full length of the line. The line formerly ran from Northallerton to Garsdale on the Settle-Carlisle Railway but the track between Redmire and Garsdale has been lifted and several bridges have been demolished, although one of the stated aims of the Wensleydale Railway is to reinstate the line from Redmire to Garsdale. Additionally, a separate proposal exists to link Hawes to Garsdale with a view to providing commuter and tourist services rather than heritage services.

Northallerton West is a temporary station built by the Wensleydale Railway as part of plans to link the railway with Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England.

The Thirsk Road drill hall is a former Army Reserve installation in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England.

HM Prison Northallerton was a prison in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England. It operated from 1788 until December 2013. During that time, it variously housed male and female adult prisoners, women with children, youth offenders, and military prisoners. Latterly Her Majesty's Prison Service struggled to keep the old prison operating to modern standards, and citing the costs of doing so and the relatively small size of the institution, it closed the prison in 2014. The prison was bought by Hambleton District Council, which is currently redeveloping the site.

RAF Hospital Northallerton, was a Second World War era military hospital, in Northallerton, Yorkshire, England. The Friarage Hospital now stands where the former hospital once stood. The site was a once a temporary medical care centre, set up in 1938 in case of bombing casualties in the area, including Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees. The Royal Air Force (RAF) took over the hospital in 1943 and relinquished it in 1947. The hospital catered specifically for RAF and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) personnel.

County Hall in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England, serves as the headquarters of North Yorkshire Council and the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. The building was opened in 1906 and has also been the headquarters of the North Riding County Council (NRCC) until 1974, and then North Yorkshire County Council until 2023. County Hall is at the south western edge of Northallerton (in the parish of Romanby) and is a Grade II* listed building.
