Maronite Catholic Patriarchal Exarchate of Jordan

Um El-Kindam (Arabic: أم الكدام) commonly called Al Arz (Arabic: حي الأرز), and officially known as Um El Kundum (Arabic: أم الكندم), is a southwest locality in the Amman Governorate of Jordan.

Al Bunayyat al Janubiyah is a town in the Amman Governorate of north-western Jordan.It is located south-west of Amman the capital of Jordan.

Tall al-’Umayri is an archaeological dig site in western Jordan that dates from the Early Bronze Age (3200–2100 BCE) to the Hellenistic period (323–30 BCE). It is located near the modern capital of Amman, and is significant for its well-preserved evidence of a temple, as well as archaeological evidence of a network of small farms believed to produce wine. Excavations were proceeding as of 2014.

The 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships took place on March 28, 2009. The races were held at the Al Bisharat Golf Course in Amman, Jordan. Four races took place, one for men, women, junior men and junior women respectively. All races encompassed both individual and team competition. Amman is also only the second occasion on which Asia has hosted the World Cross Country Championships, which are the oldest IAAF World Athletics Series event, first celebrated under the IAAF banner in 1973.

University of Petra (UOP) is a private university in Amman, Jordan. The University offers the Bachelor and Master Program, and it has more than 33 nationalities from Arab and foreign countries. The University is located on the airport road and features a green campus as well as facilities such as workplaces, laboratories and studios. It offers an applied education.

The International Community School (ICS) is an international co-educational school in Amman, Jordan. Over 700 students between the ages of three and 18 from more than 50 countries currently attend. (ICS) is independent, private and non-profit, following the English National Curriculum (ENC). The school is accredited by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) .
