Casco is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Casco in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. The population of the CDP was 587 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Casco is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. Casco is included in the Lewiston-Auburn, Maine metropolitan New England city and town area. The population was 3,646 at the 2020 census. Casco includes the villages of Casco, South Casco and Cook Mills. The town borders the east shore of Sebago Lake, and is home to part of Sebago Lake State Park. Casco is part of the Portland-South Portland-Biddeford metropolitan area. Casco is just under 30 miles (48 km) from downtown Portland. Casco is the home of "Casco Days", an annual community fair which takes place in Casco Days Park, always on the last Saturday in July.

Camp Mataponi (formerly known as Highland Nature Camps) is a non-sectarian, traditional all-girls sleepaway camp in Naples, Maine, United States, for girls approximately 7 to 15 years old. The camp is situated on Sebago Lake and accounts for over 5,000 feet of lakefront property. Camp Mataponi has grown to accommodate about 350 campers. Originally, the camp was called Highland Nature Camps. In the 1940s, it was renamed to Camp Mataponi. The name Mataponi is of the Virginia Native American Tribe, historically located near the Mata, Po, and Ni Rivers. It was founded in 1910 by Eugene Lehman, his wife Madeleine Davidsburg Lehman, and Estelle B. Davidsburg as Highland Nature Camps. Mostly visited by distinguished families from New York City, it was a nonsectarian all-girls summer camp. In 1926, the camp had rifle shooting as an activity. In 1935, the camp ran between mid-June and September. To allow campers to both do sports and learn scholarly subjects, the affiliated Highland Manor School ran classes. The current directors of the camp are Marcy and Dan Isdaner. Some activities at Camp Mataponi include: water sports, high ropes, baseball, archery, boating, and water trampoline. Business Insider in 2012 included Camp Mataponi on an "Absurdly Expensive Summer Camps" list, noting that students had to pay $10,400. Business Insider said the camp's lunch salad bar has 30 choices, and it hosted themed barbecues every week with names like "Under the Sea", "Funky Princess Super Hero", "Western night", and “Barbie”. In September 2023, the camp opened up its doors to the 8th grade class of Shore Country Day School, located in Beverly, MA. Students arrived before lunch on Wednesday, September 6, and left shortly after lunch on Friday, September 8. The 39 students indulged in many fun activities, slept in bunks, and bonded with classmates and teachers during their short stay at camp Mataponi.

Pleasant Lake is a lake in Maine, United States. It extends through southern Otisfield into northern Casco. The lake shoreline is heavily developed with residences and seasonal cabins. It is one of the finest spring fed lakes in the state. The southern end of the lake overflows as Mill Brook through the village of Casco, and reaches the Crooked River 3 miles (4.8 km) to the southwest. The lake supports a thriving population of white perch with some smallmouth bass and chain pickerel; and has been stocked with brown trout, lake trout, and land-locked Atlantic salmon. A boat launch area is available at the southern end of the lake. Seeds of Peace, an international conflict resolution summer camp, is based on Pleasant Lake.

Friends Meetinghouse is a historic Quaker meeting house on Quaker Ridge Road in Casco, Maine. Built in 1814, it is the oldest surviving Quaker meeting house in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Camp Agawam is a boys' camp located on Crescent Lake in Raymond, Maine, U.S., and is one of the oldest summer camps for boys in the United States. The camp was founded in 1919 by Appleton A. Mason, and remained in the Mason family until 1985. The Boston Globe described the camp in 1988 as "an old camp with old ideas." However, in 2009, Senator Susan Collins described its program as "unique and exciting." It is noted for its award-winning charitable program, Main Idea, which enables underprivileged boys to attend the camp. The camp is run as a non-profit organization, directed by Erik Calhoun.

Crescent Lake (formerly known as Rattlesnake Pond) is a lake in Raymond, Maine, United States. It is located around 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north of the center of Raymond. A few other lakes surround it, including Panther Pond to the south (connected by the Tenny River), Raymond Pond to the east, Thompson Lake to the north and Dumpling Pond and Coffee Pond to the west. It has a surface area of 716 acres (3 km2) and a maximum depth of 54 ft (16 m), which occurs in its northeastern section. Its shoreline runs for 8.9 miles (14.3 km). Webbs Mills Road, part of Maine State Route 85, passes to the west of the lake, running in a north–south direction, connecting Raymond, East Raymond and the village of Crescent Lake. Camp Agawam, one of the oldest summer camps for boys in the United States, is situated on the northwestern shores of the lake. Crescent Lake Watershed Association was formed in 2008.

Point Sebago Resort is located in the Town of Casco, on the north shore of Sebago Lake, southern Maine's largest lake. Point Sebago opened in 1970 as a campground suitable for tents and trailers. Today the 775-acre (3 km2) resort has over 250 park homes on and around Sebago Lake, resort cottages and vacation homes on and around the 18-hole championship golf course. The Resort offers free supervised children's activities program, as well as family and adult activities to resort guests, and an off Broadway caliber entertainment program. Sebago Lake State Park lies just to its west. The resort was started in 1970 by Larry Gould, who lived on the shore of the lake from 2008 until his death from a long-standing illness on February 13, 2015. The resort is now owned by Cove Communities.

Crescent Lake (formerly Rattlesnake Pond) receives drainage from Coffee Pond and Dumpling Pond in northern Casco, Maine, and extends south into Raymond. The south end of the lake overflows through the Tenny River to Panther Pond 1 mile (1.6 km) south. The town of Raymond maintains a small boat ramp and swimming area on Maine State Route 85 at the south end of the lake. Smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, and white perch thrive in the lake, with sizable specimens of each species caught by anglers each year. Dissolved oxygen deficiency below the 11-metre (36 ft) summer thermocline limits suitability for cold-water fish; but the lake still supports populations of cusk and rainbow smelt.

Brandy Pond, also known as Bay of Naples Lake, is a small lake in Naples, Maine, United States, that is connected to Long Lake by the Chute River. Brandy Pond is connected to Sebago Lake by the Songo River, which runs through Sebago Lake State Park. To get to Sebago Lake through the Songo River, one must pass through Songo Lock, one of the last remaining hand-operated locks in the country. Brandy Pond is bounded by a commercial (downtown) area called the "causeway" on Rt. 302, an area of homes on the southerly side called Scenic Drive, a golf course on the northern side, as well as many private homes and public campgrounds and condominiums.

The Tenny River is a 1.0-mile-long (1.6 km) navigable stream connecting Crescent Lake with Panther Pond in the town of Raymond in the U.S. state of Maine. The river drops just one foot in elevation over its course, from 278 feet (85 m) above sea level at Crescent Lake to 277 feet (84 m) at Panther Pond, the outlet of which (Panther Run) then drops another 10 feet (3.0 m) to Sebago Lake. The Tenny River is part of the Presumpscot River watershed, flowing to Casco Bay, an arm of the Atlantic Ocean.

WBLM 102.9 FM is a Classic Rock radio station licensed to Portland, Maine. The station has a studio in One City Center, along with co-owned Townsquare Media stations WJBQ, WCYY and WHOM. The station also serves as the Portland market affiliate for the New England Patriots Radio Network. WBLM is one of only a few FM Stations in New England licensed to operate at 100,000 watts, meaning that the station can be received from almost anywhere within a 90-mile radius of its transmitter. WBLM broadcasts from a tower near Route 121 in Raymond that is the second tallest man-made structure in Maine (second only to the tower for WMTW TV 8). In the movie City Slickers, Billy Crystal's character claimed to have been a sales executive for the fictional station "WBLM Radio".
