Ewha Women's University (Korean: 이화여자대학교; Hanja: 梨花女子大學校) is a private women's university in Seoul founded in 1886 by Mary F. Scranton under Emperor Gojong. It was the first university founded in South Korea. Currently, Ewha is the world's largest female educational institute and one of the prestigious universities in South Korea.

Severance Hospital is a hospital located in Sinchon-dong, Seodaemun District, South Korea. It is one of the oldest and biggest university hospitals in South Korea. It has 2,437 beds and treats approximately 2,500,000 outpatients and 840,000 inpatients annually. The hospital was founded as a royal hospital in 1885 by Horace N. Allen which was then restructured as Severance Hospital by Oliver R. Avison, a Canadian medical missionary with the advisory of Underwood, his role model and financial assistance from Louis H. Severance. On September 23, 1904, Avison's hospital, Severance Hospital and College, first opened its doors. Since 1957 it has been affiliated with Yonsei University College of Medicine, and is part of the Yonsei University Health System.

Sinchon Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It was opened as a train station in 1921 and Seoul Metro traffic commenced in 2009.

The Center for Quantum Nanoscience was founded in 2017 as part of efforts for South Korea to expand basic science research. Classified as an Extramural Center of the Institute for Basic Science, it is hosted by Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. Their research focuses on exploring quantum properties of atoms and molecules on surfaces and interfaces and long-term goals of quantum sensing and quantum computation in those areas. Their dedicated building started construction in 2018 and officially opened in 2019 during the IBS Conference on Quantum Nanoscience. In 2020, the Research Cooperation Building received the Excellence Prize of the 2020 Korean Architecture Award.

Chejungwon (Korean: 제중원; Hanja: 濟衆院) was founded in Seoul in 1885, and is known as the first Western medical institution in Korea. It affiliated with Yonhee University in 1957, which changed its name to Yonsei University to mark the collaboration. It is now part of the Yonsei University Health System.

Yonsei University (Korean: 연세대학교; Hanja: 延世大學校; [jʌn.se.dɛ.hak.k͈jo]) is a private research university in Seoul, South Korea. As a member of the "SKY" universities, Yonsei University is deemed one of the three most prestigious institutions in the country. It is particularly respected in the studies of medicine and business administration. The student body consists of 26,731 undergraduate students, 11,994 graduate students, 4,518 faculty members, 6,788 staff, and 257,931 alumni. Yonsei operates its main campus in Seoul and offers graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Korean and English Language. The university was established in January 1957 through the union of Yonhi College (연희전문학교; 延禧專門學校) and Severance Union Medical College (세브란스 의과대학; 세브란스 醫科大學). This was a result of a lasting bilateral cooperation between the colleges that began in the 1920s. The institutions were the first of their kinds in Korea. Yonhi College was one of the first modern colleges, founded as Chosun Christian College (조선기독교대학; 朝鮮基督教大學) in March 1915. Severance has its roots in the first modern medical center in Korea, Gwanghyewon (광혜원 廣惠院, House of Extended Grace), founded in April, 1885. As a tribute, the name "Yonsei" was derived from the first syllables of the names of its two parent institutions, "Yon; 연; 延" from Yonhi College and "Sei; 세; 世" from Severance Union Medical College.

Ewha Womans University Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2. As its name indicates, it serves the nearby Ewha Womans University, although Sinchon Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line is closer to the school. Although technically the station has one island platform with both rail tracks running on opposite sides, the two boarding areas with screen doors are essentially blocked off from each other, and are connected only by a few long and narrow passageways. Some people mistake this station to have two side platforms that are adjacent to each other.Nearby Shopping Area As many schools and residential buildings are close to Ewha Woman's University Station, there are many shops selling clothes at relatively low price. The main street selling clothes is named Ewhayeodae 5-gil.

Yonsei Law School (연세대학교 법학전문대학원) is one of the professional graduate schools of Yonsei University, located in Seoul, South Korea. As a member of SKY (universities), it is known as one of the top three law schools in Korea.

The College of Engineering is one of eleven major academic divisions (or colleges) of the Ewha Womans University. Established in 1996 with four departments, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Environmental Science, and Architecture, the college currently offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees.

Sinchon (Korean: 신촌; Hanja: 新村) is a region of South Korea surrounding Sinchon-dong, Changcheon-dong, Nogosan-dong and Daeheung-dong. It is known for its numerous universities including Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Sogang University, Hongik University and Myongji University, as well as its vibrant nightlife.

Changcheon-dong is a dong, neighbourhood of Seodaemun-gu in Seoul, South Korea. The sole Mormon Temple in South Korea is located here.The Synnara Record Shop in Changcheon was used as one of the main filming locations for Seoul Broadcasting System's 2001 drama Beautiful Days, starring Lee Byung-hun, Choi Ji-woo, Ryu Si-won, Shin Min-a, Lee Jung-hyun and Lee Yoo-jinThe area has a 66㎡ store of Korean cosmetics brand Skin Food, which has been opened since June 2004 and it also sells Traditional Korean medicine or hanbang.

Sinchon Station is a station on Line 2 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway in Mapo-gu, north of the Han River. It is located between Hongik University Station and Ewha Womans University Station. It is the closest station to Sogang University, Yonsei University, Hyundai Department Store Sinchon, and Seoul Korea Temple. The area between the station and the front gate of Yonsei University is known simply as Sinchon-dong, and is a mecca of nightlife in Seoul, being packed with restaurants, pubs and bars that draw young adults from all over. This station is also in the vicinity of a bus terminal offering service to cities in northwestern Gyeonggi province, including Ilsan, Gimpo, and Ganghwa.
