Beehive Field is a stadium in New Britain, Connecticut. The ballpark has a capacity of 4,700. It is primarily used for baseball and was the home of the New Britain Red Sox (Boston Red Sox AA affiliate) from the time of their move to the city in 1983 until moving next door to New Britain Stadium for the 1995 season. The Eastern League All-Star Game was played before 3,106 fans on June 29, 1987, with league-MVP Mark Grace and game-MVP Dwight Smith representing the Pittsfield Cubs. The Hartford Hawks baseball program used the venue for some home games prior to opening Fiondella Field in 2006.As of 2000, Beehive Field was used primarily by New Britain High School baseball and softball teams.

Opened in 1996, the stadium seats 6,146 spectators. The stadium is part of the city facility known as Willow Brook Park and is sometimes referred to by this name also. It is adjacent to Beehive Field, where the New Britain Red Sox played for 13 seasons after moving from Bristol in 1983. The park also contains Veteran's Memorial Stadium, a facility for football and soccer. New Britain Stadium hosted the Eastern League All-Star Game on July 16, 2003, before a then-record crowd of 7,169 fans. On the last day of the 2004 season, it welcomed its two millionth visitor. The current all-time attendance record was set on August 28, 2015, when 8,672 fans watched the Rock Cats' last Friday home game.

The Erwin Home, originally the Erwin Home for Worthy and Indigent Women, is a charitable organization providing housing for women of limited means in New Britain, Connecticut. Managed by the South Church of New Britain, it operates a number of apartment houses between Bassett Street and Cornelius Way. It was founded in 1885 with a bequest from local businessman and philanthropist Cornelius Erwin. Its original main building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its distinctive Queen Anne architecture.

The New Britain Public High School Campus is a historic suite of former school buildings at 50 Bassett Street and 161 South Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut. The campus's oldest building, opened in 1896, was one of the first public high schools in Connecticut, and is a good example of Renaissance Revival architecture. The campus was repeated enlarged during the 20th century with the addition of trade and vocational components, and served the city as a high school until the 1970s, when it was converted to housing.The campus was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Francis H. Holmes House is a historic house at 349 Rocky Hill Ave. in New Britain, Connecticut. Built in 1906–08, it is an architecturally eclectic brick building, designed by a prominent local architect for the owner of a local brickmaking business, as a showcase for the latter's wares. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Jean E. Hooker School-Berlin High School, most recently the Kensington Grammar School, was a historic school complex at 462 Alling Street in Berlin, Connecticut. Built in 1910, the building served as both the town's first high school, and as a private school before being converted to an elementary school and finally closing in 1975. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012; it was demolished in 2014.

Downtown New Britain is the historic commercial and civic heart of the city of New Britain, Connecticut. It is located in the southern part of the city, anchored by the triangular Central Park and City Hall on the north, and by Franklin Park on the south. The city was one of Connecticut's industrial powerhouses of the 19th and early 20th centuries, which is reflected in the abundance, style, and quality of the architecture found in the downtown. The area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Berlin station is a train station located in the Kensington neighborhood of Berlin, Connecticut. It is on the New Haven–Springfield Line and is served by Amtrak's Northeast Regional, Hartford Line, and Valley Flyer, in addition to the Hartford Line commuter rail. Two high-level platforms, each six cars long connected by an overhead pedestrian bridge opened at the Hartford Line service launch on June 16, 2018. On December 21, 2016, the historic 1900-built station building was destroyed by a fire.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School was a Roman Catholic senior high school in New Britain, Connecticut.In 1995 the school established a board, Aquinas Foundation, which implemented fundraisers. Circa 1995 the school had 240 students. The enrollment declined further, and as of 1999 the fundraisers had not resulted in a lot of money going to the school. In the summer of 1999 there were fewer than 100 enrolled students for the upcoming school year, including only 11 9th grade (freshmen) students. In July 1999 the school announced it was closing as the enrollment was too low.After the closure, the school building was abandoned. In 2016 land planning company TO Design LLC agreed to buy the building for $80,000.

The First Lutheran Church of the Reformation is a historic church at 77 Franklin Square in New Britain, Connecticut. The congregation was founded in 1885 and the current church building was constructed 1903-07. The building, a fine local example of Late Gothic Revival architecture, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
