Peninsula Park is a public park in the Piedmont neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, United States. The 16.27-acre (6.58 ha) park is located in the North Portland neighborhood and contains an outdoor swimming pool, community center, baseball fields, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, covered picnic areas, a historic gazebo and other amenities. In 2007, area residents started to propose a piece of public art be added to the park honoring Rosa Parks, as the park lies along Rosa Parks Way.

Rosa Parks is a light rail station on the MAX Yellow Line in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. It is the 6th stop northbound on the Interstate MAX extension. It was originally named North Portland Boulevard, but following the city's decision in fall 2006 to rename Portland Blvd. to Rosa Parks Way, TriMet indicated it would support the change by renaming the station, at a then-undetermined future date. The signs at the station continued to show the old name until Feb. 4, 2009, when a dedication ceremony was held, unveiling new signs renaming it as "Rosa Parks" station ("Way" being implied only). On TriMet's maps and other media, the station is shown as "N Rosa Parks Way". The station is located in the median of Interstate Avenue near the intersection of N Rosa Parks Way. It has staggered side platforms, which sit on either side of the cross street, because the route runs around this station on Interstate Avenue in the median. Artistic elements at the station refer to Native American art.

Rosemary Anderson High School (RAHS) is a private alternative high school in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is a program of the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC) and is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission. The school was established in 1983. Rosemary Anderson High School East was established in 2012 to serve students in the Centennial and Gresham-Barlow school districts in eastern Multnomah County. The school provides a year-round program that gives students a last chance to earn a high school diploma. The community based programs of the POIC serve youth and young adults through the age of 25.The school has an annual enrollment of 190 at-risk students who have been expelled from or dropped out of public high school, including many students experiencing homelessness. The program has a 90% graduation rate for students who enroll and attend classes. The East program can enroll up to 200 students. The school is registered with the Oregon Department of Education, which qualifies POIC to contract with school districts and makes it eligible to instruct and administer high school diplomas and instruct for the GED.

Trinity Academy is a private classical Christian middle and high school located in north central Portland, Oregon The school was founded by Roman Catholic and Protestant Christians, though non-Christian students are welcome. Trinity Schools licenses the Trinity School Curriculum to Trinity Academy.

Trillium Charter School was a K–12 school located in Portland, Oregon, United States. In February 2019, Portland Public Schools revoked the school's charter. The school had failed to provide accurate financial statements and had failed to meet an improvement plan to increase academic competence.

Mississippi Records is a record store and label. It was founded by Eric Isaacson in 2003 in Portland, Oregon. It also houses a café, equipment repair shop, and the Portland Museum of Modern Art. On January 1, 2019, filmmaker Cyrus Moussavi and musician Gordon Ashworth became the new owners with Isaacson working as a label project manager. Mississippi Records relocated to Chicago. In 2019, Mississippi Records went on a national tour.
