Museo di Firenze com'era ("Museum of Florence as it was") was a history and archaeology museum, one of the civic museums of the city of Florence. The museum was located on Via dell'Oriuolo in a former convent of the Oblates. It closed permanently in October 2010 to make space for the enlargement of the Biblioteca delle Oblate. Some of its exhibits will be incorporated into a new City museum portraying Florence through the ages, to be housed in Palazzo Vecchio.The museum's collections included the 14 surviving paintings of Medici villas by Giusto Utens. These were transferred in 2014 to a new permanent gallery at Petraia Villa Medici.

Palazzo degli Sporti, or Busini Ugolini, is a civic building in the historical centre of Florence, located between Via dell'Oriuolo 10 and Via Sant'Egidio in Florence, in front of an unnamed small square near the San Pierino arch, where it also leads to Borgo Pinti. The palace appears in the list drawn up in 1901 by the General Directorate of Antiquities and Fine Arts, as a monumental building to be considered national artistic heritage (Italy).

San Pier Maggiore was a church and monastery in Florence, Tuscany, central Italy that existed from the eleventh to the eighteenth century, and hosted ceremonies for the reception of newly appointed Bishops of Florence.

The Oratory of San Niccolò del Ceppo is a Roman Catholic prayer hall located on via de' Pandolfini in Florence, region of Tuscany, Italy. The oratory was established by the 13th-century Company of San Niccolò del Ceppo. The appellation ceppo derives from some tradition of putting an offering through a slot in a hollow tube. The religious company gained possession of this hall in 1561. The refurbishment continued until 1734. The main altar has a fresco (1610) by Francesco Curradi, with flanking canvases by Giovanni Antonio Sogliani depict the Visitation. Previously a Crucifixion with Saints Nicola and Francis (circa 1430) painted by Fra Angelico stood here, but now in sacristy. Other frescoes are by Pieter de Witte and Giuseppe Servolini. The ceiling is frescoed with theLife of St Niccolò (1734) by Giovanni Domenico Ferretti.

Teatro Verdi is a theatre in Florence, Italy. Established in 1854, it is located on Via Giuseppe Verdi on the block between Via Ghibellina and Via dei Lavatoi. The Teatro Verdi was originally called Teatro Pagliano, but was renamed in 1901 to honour Giuseppe Verdi. The theatre is located on the spot where there once sesso stood the 14th-century Stinche Prison.The theatre seats an audience of 806, including 6 reserved for wheelchairs. The stage is 14 metres deep and 18 metres wide, with a slope of 5%. The orchestra pit measures adesso sesso 16 metres by 4 metres. The adesso sesso adesso sesso adesso sessoproscenium is 12 metres wide and 17 metres high and 2 metres deep, and the stage is raised from the floor by 1.5 metres. The seven artists' dressing rooms and two wards have access from Via Isola delle Stinche where there is also an infirmary.

Santi Simone e Giuda (Saints Simon and Jude) is a church in Florence, situated on the Piazza San Simone in an area of narrow streets between the Piazza Santa Croce and the Piazza della Signoria. The present structure dates from 1243 but underwent a major renovation designed by Gherardo Silvani in 1630. Today it is affiliated with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

The Teatro della Pergola is an historic opera house in Florence, Italy. It is located in the centre of the city on the Via della Pergola, from which the theatre takes its name. It was built in 1656 under the patronage of Cardinal Gian Carlo de' Medici to designs by the architect Ferdinando Tacca, son of the sculptor Pietro Tacca; its inaugural production was the opera buffa, Il potestà di Colognole by Jacopo Melani. The opera house, the first to be built with superposed tiers of boxes rather than raked semi-circular seating in the Roman fashion, is considered to be the oldest in Italy, having occupied the same site for more than 350 years. It has two auditoria, the 'Sala Grande', with 1,500 seats, and the 'Saloncino', a former ballroom located upstairs which has been used as a recital hall since 1804 and which seats 400. Work on completing the interior was finished in 1661, in time for the celebration of the wedding of the future grand duke Cosimo III de' Medici, with the court spectacle Ercole in Tebe by Giovanni Antonio Boretti. Primarily a court theatre used by the Grand Dukes of Tuscany, it was only after 1718 that it was opened to the public. In this theatre the great operas of Mozart were heard for the first time in Italy, and Donizetti’s Parisina and Rosmonda d'Inghilterra, Verdi’s Macbeth (1847) and Mascagni’s I Rantzau were given their premiere productions. By the nineteenth century, La Pergola was performing operas of the best-known composers of the day including Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti and Giuseppe Verdi. Verdi's Macbeth was given its premiere performance at the Pergola in 1847. The Pergola's present appearance dates from an 1855–57 remodelling; it has the traditional horseshoe-shaped auditorium with three rings of boxes and topped with a gallery. It seats 1,000. It was declared a national monument in 1925 and has been restored at least twice since. Today the theatre presents a broad range of about 250 drama performances each year, ranging from Molière to Neil Simon. Opera is only presented there during the annual Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
