Maria Rain (Slovene: Žihpolje) is a town in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in the Austrian state of Carinthia, known for its Baroque parish and pilgrimage church (rebuilt between 1700 and 1729).

Burg Hollenburg (Slovene: Humberk) is a medieval castle near Köttmannsdorf in Carinthia, Austria. It is on a rock of the northern slope of the Drava valley. Burg Hollenburg is 561 metres (1,841 ft) above sea level. One Swiker, Lord of Hollenburg in the Duchy of Carinthia was first documented as a witness in the 1142 deed of the foundation of Viktring Abbey. He may have been a vassal of the ducal House of Sponheim; his son Reginher is mentioned as Lord of Steuerberg, he accompanied King Conrad III of Germany on the Second Crusade in 1147 and later appeared as a ministerialis of Margrave Ottokar IV of Styria. The castle was of strategical importance due to its location at a Drava river crossing and the road to the Loibl Pass and the March of Carniola. Upon the extinction of the Hollenburg dynasty in 1246, it passed to the Styrian Lords of Pettau, in 1438 it was inherited by the House of Stubenberg. The structure had been severely damaged by the 1348 Friuli earthquake. In 1514 the Habsburg emperor Maximilian I, stuck in the War of the League of Cambrai against Venice and highly indebted, sold Hollenburg to Lord Siegmund of Dietrichstein, elevating him to the rank of a Freiherr (Baron). The House of Dietrichstein had the castle rebuilt in a Renaissance style, finished in 1588. The Dietrichsteins held the castle until the extinction of the branch in 1861, it was acquired by the Wittgenstein family in 1913.

Viktring (Slovene: Vetrinj) is the 13th district of Klagenfurt, Carinthia, Austria.

The BRG Klagenfurt-Viktring is a Bundesrealgymnasium in the 13th district of Klagenfurt (Viktring), Austria. Emphasis is placed on the musical education and in art education. In addition, there is also a branch with emphasis on science; this branch is also accessible to children whose residence lies outside of the 13th district of Klagenfurt, since the school year of 2007/08. The school is visited by approx. 1000 pupils. The majority travels each day by bus from all parts of Carinthia in order to receive an education with emphasis on music or the arts. The school building is a former monastery surrounded by a park, with ponds and some trees. There is also a church on the school grounds and a former Praelatur.

Viktring Abbey (German: Stift Viktring, Slovene: Opatija Vetrinj) is a former Cistercian monastery in the Austrian state of Carinthia. Stift Viktring is now the name of the Roman Catholic parish in Viktring, since 1973 a district of the Carinthian capital Klagenfurt.

Köttmannsdorf (Slovene: Kotmara vas) is a town in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in the Austrian state of Carinthia.

Wörthersee Stadion (Wörtherseestadion ), known as 28 Black Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Klagenfurt, Austria. It is the home ground of Austria Klagenfurt. The stadium is situated within the Sportpark Klagenfurt campus of several other sports venues. Its name refers to the nearby Wörthersee lake.

Klagenfurt am Wörthersee (German: [ˌklaːɡn̩fʊʁt ʔam ˈvœʁtɐzeː] (listen); Austro-Bavarian: Klognfuat; Slovene: Celovec), usually known as just Klagenfurt (English: KLAH-gən-foort), is the capital of the state of Carinthia in Austria. With a population of 103,009 (1 January 2022), it is the sixth-largest city in the country. The city is the bishop's seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt and home to the University of Klagenfurt, the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences and the Gustav Mahler University of Music.

The Eboardmuseum, founded in 1987 by the musician, mathematics teacher and engineer Gert Prix, is a collection of electronic keyboard instruments. It very quickly outgrew the original venue and, in 2007, the collection was moved into a hall at the fair area in the centre of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Austria and is now considered to be the largest museum of its kind worldwide. In 2010, the Eboardmuseum was honored with the Austrian "Museumsguetesiegel" seal of quality. At the invitation of Google, the Eboardmuseum has been participating in the Music, Makers & Machines project as part of Google Arts & Culture since March 2021. As part of this project, it presents a small selection of its exhibits, accompanied by video examples.

Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (German for Klagenfurt Main station; occasionally translated as Klagenfurt Central Station) is the main railway station in Klagenfurt, capital of the Austrian state of Carinthia. It is an important railway junction in southern Austria.
