The Elkhart County 4-H Fair is conducted annually in Goshen, Indiana and is one of the largest county fairs in the country. In 2017, 202,560 guests visited the Fair during the 9 day event. The Elkhart County 4-H Fair is known for its free grandstand entertainment and concerts. Over 4000 Elkhart county youth are involved in 4-H, displaying 8000 projects at the Fair annually.

The Mennonite Historical Library (MHL) is considered the world's most prominent and complete collection of resources and artifacts pertaining to Mennonites and related Anabaptist groups. It is housed in the Harold and Wilma Good Library on the campus of Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. The specialty library was founded in 1906 under the guidance of Harold S. It was founded in 1894 as the Elkhart Institute of Science, Industry and the Arts, and is affiliated with Mennonite Church USA. Violett-Martin House and Gardens is a historic home and garden located in Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana. The house was built between 1855 and 1858, and is a two-story, Italianate style red brick dwelling with a hipped roof. It was enlarged in the 1920s. Also on the property are the contributing garage, workhouse, greenhouse built circa 1920 and landscaped grounds with pergola.: 5–9 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

It was built about 1854, and is a two-story, T-shaped, Italianate style red brick dwelling. It features cornice brackets, heavy frieze molding, and arched openings.: 2 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
