Enfield Lock railway station is on the West Anglia Main Line, it is in Enfield Lock in the London Borough of Enfield, London. It is 11 miles 65 chains (19.0 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Brimsdown and Waltham Cross. Its three-letter station code is ENL and it is in Travelcard zone 6. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Greater Anglia. Enfield Lock was the main station for the Royal Small Arms Factory until its closure in the late 1980s, and now serves the large housing development on the site known as Enfield Island Village, as well as the nearby Innova Science and Business park.

Oasis Academy Enfield is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Enfield Lock area of Enfield, England. The school was established in September 2007, as one of the first academies sponsored by Oasis Community Learning. The school was initially housed in temporary accommodation before transferring to a new £21 million building in September 2008. The school maintains close links with Oasis Academy Hadley, located in nearby Ponders End.

Turkey Brook is a river in the northern outskirts of London. It rises in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, and flows broadly eastwards to merge with the River Lea Navigation near Enfield Lock.

Enfield Lock is an area in the London Borough of Enfield, north London. It is approximately located east of the Hertford Road between Turkey Street and the Holmesdale Tunnel overpass, and extends to the River Lee Navigation, including the Enfield Island Village. The locality gains its name from the lock on the River Lee Navigation. Today's Enfield Lock was rebuilt in 1922. The area forms part of the Lee Valley Park and the Enfield Lock Conservation Area. On its eastern boundary Enfield Lock has marshland formerly used as a testing site between the Royal Small Arms Factory and the Gunpowder Mills, beyond this is the village of Sewardstone and the Epping forest boundary. To the south is Brimsdown, the north Waltham Cross and to the west Bullsmoor and Freezywater. Enfield Lock forms part of the London boundary.

Waltham Cross railway station is on the West Anglia Main Line, serving the suburban town of Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire, and the neighbouring Waltham Abbey in Essex, England. It is 12 miles 63 chains (20.6 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Enfield Lock and Cheshunt. Its three-letter station code is WLC and it is in Travelcard zone 7. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Greater Anglia. The station has 4 Oyster card readers rather than ticket barriers. During the 2012 Olympic Games, Waltham Cross and Cheshunt provided the main rail access to the Lee Valley White Water Centre.

Waltham Cross is a town in the Borough of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, England, located 13 miles (21 km) north of central London. In the south-eastern corner of Hertfordshire, it borders Cheshunt to the north, Waltham Abbey to the east, and Enfield to the south, forming part of the metropolitan area of London and the Greater London Urban Area. Historically part of the ancient parish of Cheshunt in the Hertford hundred of Hertfordshire, the town once formed its southern part. Waltham Cross formed a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1855, whilst remaining part of the Cheshunt civil parish. The parish of Cheshunt was granted urban district status in 1894, and merged with that of Hoddesdon to form the Borough of Broxbourne in 1974. The town has a modest commercial centre, with a pedestrianised High Street and an indoor shopping centre. The Waltham Cross post town stretches to the neighbouring town of Cheshunt and a small part of Enfield. It is named after the Eleanor cross which stands in its centre, one of twelve constructed on the orders of King Edward I following the death of his wife Eleanor of Castile in 1290. Only three of the original crosses remain intact, including the Waltham cross and two more in the Northamptonshire villages of Geddington and Hardingstone.

Enfield Wash is an area in the London Borough of Enfield, North London. It is approximately located in the area either side of Hertford Road between Ordnance Road/Turkey Street and Bell Lane/Hoe Lane.

Lea Valley Academy (formerly Lea Valley High School) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the Bullsmoor area of Enfield, England.

Aylward Academy (formerly Gladys Aylward School) is a mixed secondary school and sixth form in Edmonton, in the London Borough of Enfield for students aged 11 to 18. Since September 2010, it has been an academy sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET) family of schools. Remo Iafrate succeeded Jonathan Gillard as Principal. Dele Rotimi succeeded Remo Iafrate in September 2021

Ark John Keats Academy is a co-educational all-through school and sixth form located in the Enfield Wash area of London, England. It is a free school educating primary and Secondary school pupils, and is sponsored by Ark Schools. The school is named after John Keats, the poet. Ark John Keats Academy is located on the site which used to house Albany School until it closed in 2009. The site then housed Oasis Academy Hadley until that school relocated to Ponders End in 2013.

Fern House School (formerly Aylands School) is a coeducational special school for children who have emotional or behavioural difficulties. It was founded in 1969, and provides for up to 40 pupils in year groups 3–16. The present number of children on the roll is 44.

Rammey Marsh is located in the Lee Valley Park at Enfield Lock, Enfield, and covers approximately 42 hectares (100 acres). The site is owned and managed by the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
