Odiliapeel (Brabantian: De Piejel) is a village in the Netherlands. It is situated in the northeast corner of the province of North Brabant, south of Volkel Air Base. It used to be part of the municipality of Uden, but merged into the municipality of Maashorst in 2022. Odiliapeel was founded in 1921 as a heath excavation settlement. On 5 May 1930, it was officially named Odiliapeel, and is a combination of Odile of Alsace and the region Peel. The initial excavation of the area started in 1908, however a government subsidy plan led to the systematic exploration of the area. The village was designed by Heidemij (nowadays: Arcadis).The Catholic Kruisvindingskerk was built between 1958 and 1959 as an aisleless church and a massive tower attached to the side of the church.

Heikant is a hamlet in the former municipality of Uden, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 2 km southeast of Volkel.Since 2022 it has been part of the new municipality of Maashorst.

Zaarvlaas is a hamlet in the municipality of Gemert-Bakel, North Brabant province of the Netherlands.Zaarvlaas is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Bakel. It has no place name signs and consists of a handful of houses.It was first mentioned in 1897 as Zaarvlaas, and means "sedge grass (carex) near a pond in the heath or forest".

Volkel Air Base (Dutch: Vliegbasis Volkel) (IATA: UDE, ICAO: EHVK) is a military airbase used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) - Dutch: Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu), located near the village of Volkel, Netherlands. It is home to one F-16 Fighting Falcon squadron, No 312 and a F-35 squadron No 313 and a maintenance, logistical, a base Squadron for the RNLAF. Volkel also houses the 703rd Munitions Support Squadron, part of the 52nd Fighter Wing from the United States Air Force. After more than 50 years, former Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers in 2013 officially confirmed the presence of 22 B61 nuclear bombs at Volkel. In 2021 training with the latest B-61-12 modification begun and in December 2023, 14 F-16 could be seen performing an elephant walk (aeronautics) before take off.

Bakel is a village east of Helmond and Eindhoven in southern part of the Netherlands. The total population is approximately 5,000. Until 1997, it formed the municipality of Bakel and Milheeze together with Milheeze. In 1997 Bakel merged with the Gemert municipality.Bakel does not have old buildings, with the exception of the St Willibrordus Church which is the oldest in the area. This church was modernized during the 1970s, but regained some of the original style of decoration during the 1990s. The area surrounding Bakel is heavily forested; the agricultural economy is dominated by the bio industry. It has the highest pig density in the Netherlands.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Laarbeek, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 3 km east of Aarle-Rixtel.Heikant has a population of about 295; this includes a large part of the surrounding countryside. Heikant has no place name signs, but there is a golf course.

Volkel (Brabantian: Vollekul) is a village in the Netherlands. It is situated in the north-east corner of the province of North Brabant, south-east of the town of Uden. On 1 January 2021, Volkel had 3,435 inhabitants. It used to be part of the municipality of Uden, and merged into the municipality of Maashorst in 2022.Volkel is known for Volkel Air Base and amusement park BillyBird Park Hemelrijk. Volkel used to be a little village. In 1455, a chapel was built, but did not get a church until 1855. In 1940, a military airport was built near Volkel by the Germans. During Operation Market Garden, the airport was bombed many times. The damage was repaired afterwards, and it first served as an Allied airport and later it became a Dutch military airport.
